    I would find out who holds the mortgage and see if they will let you stay if they do take to property back.It is a win win for you and the mortgage company. What she did with the money is none of your concern. You paid rent and had a place to stay. Any money spent on a lawyer is going to be a waste in this situation.

    No shit. Anyways, I would like to see someone over come the lack of jumping in the Bahamas. Do people really plan that far ahead. I planned Dublin about 3 months out.

    Not trying to send this to SC so please don't start a big rant, but what exactly is or government waiting for before we can go there directly? I flew over the island once with the Cayman Caravan a few years back. It is beautiful down there.

    Providing there are no airspace restrictions all you need is the land owners permission to land on a property and to inform ATC 2 min prior. Excluding jumps into highly populated areas. Where in the FARs did you find this to not be legal? I would say your biggest problem is going to be finding one of the "old geezers" to fly you. This would also be the more dangerous part of your plan, climbing out of a plane with a pilot that has never flown jumpers. Do a search. There are alot of threads about this. It would however be a good idea to inform the local police. They will probably want to come out and watch. This is also not taking into consideration your experience level or lack of. I'll let someone else take that one.

    Looks like someone is competing with a static line DZ. Too bad people can't make a living selling what they have and have to resort to talking down what someone else does. Oh well, it's election time, get use to it.

    Sounds pretty normal to me. When you declare they give you what ever you want. They would not assign a runway. As for the word Crash, he started to say Crash Response Vehicles and stopped himself. Handled well IMO.

    I say do it till you don't want to do it any more. I spent a large part of my life planning and waiting. Only to find out that life is what happens to you while you are planning and waiting for the right time to do things. Too many people are too busy making a living to have a life. It is ass backwards. Can I do everything I want? No,but I can do most of the things I want to and have a damn good time. As opposed to what I used to do. First working for other people and then letting my business run me. Don't forget to enjoy life while you are making all of those plans.

    I agree that people come and go through your life. That is normal. I am talking about people that you go out of your way to contact with no results. The arguement has been made that it might just be me but lets get real. There are two or three people that I am thinking of that there is no way I offended and were pretty close to that have just disappeared. There is one that I have left a dozen + messages for with no call back. I know, a normal person would quit calling but it kind of turned into a game to see if they would answer the phone.
