    JC, I enjoyed reading your post where it explains the differences. Yet I think that it can be summoned in 3 words. Pragmatism Vs. Dogma. Where dogma is constantly trying to tell pragmatism how to do its deed, while pragma while testing dogma's theories have to include other variables that where not considered. I bet that most in here when in college/universities pretty much tend to idealize the world, then we are hit with the realities of it, when we need to actually put that knowledge into place. Of course saying that if you are liberal you are very smart, or if you are conservative you are uneducated is just silly, as it is based on what it is perceived in higher education sites.     Sorry Dave did not see the post until today, but I would say that basically is being impaired, the person who illegally gets behind the wheel and does so with pre-meditation. It's easy to stop drinking and not do drugs and stop drinking if you know you need to drive. The talking on the phone, and not sleeping is just about common sense, and the legality of it is that you can get a ticket without it being a major offense, unless of course you kill someone.
