There are laws that forbid women from the liberties men enjoy, in your old country, Iran. Just check you old constitution. There are few like those you describe. Sudan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordania, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, Iran, you should see how non secular those governemnts tend to be, where there are IMAMS (muslim priests) declaring Fatwas to that effect. The 2 most recent visits are Afhganistan, and Iraq. Women want their independence, and have long suffered at the unmerciful religious laws, which in most cases are the law of the land.
