Has anyone made demo jump into a football game before? And what kind of stadium was it? Did you have PRO Rating? The reason I am asking is because a friend and I are looking to jump into the homecoming football game at our school in order to promote our club. It is a small division two field, (basically like a high school football field). I looked at it the other day and it is very wide open, with a lot of good outs nearby. As far as I know we have FAA approval for the jump. My only diliemna is that I cant't get my PRO rating only baceause I don't have 500 jumps yet. Any advice ? I realize that there are only a couple of people that know the actual truth. But someone brought up the point that in order for Mike to kill his wife he would have had to leave Couch Freaks at night and fly to Tennessee to kill his wife and then fly back to Couch Freaks to create an alibi. This is wierd because from what I have been told by several people that were at Couch Freaks that year, that is exactly what happened. I was told that they saw him take off that evening. From what I understand everyone just thought that he was done flying jumpers at Couch. However he was supposedly back at the Boogie that next morning flying loads, with those burn marks on him. Since I have heard this from many people from several different DZs that were there and said they physically saw him take off that night, I believe it to be true. Of course this does not he killed his wife but, it does discredit any alibi he might have IN MY OPINION. Has anyone gone and spent money at a freefly school. With the Flyboyz, or Olav's school for example. If you did how many jumps didi you make and did you make enough of a progression as a freeflier to justify the cost. Thanks ColdDuck "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

I waws at the Couch Freaks boogi over the weekend. And I had a great time, I think there were about 5,000 jumps made all together. As a whole it was a good experience for my first boogie. The only bad part was on Thursday afternoon I was on a Otter load and I landed near our campsite and looked up in time to watch the guy in the group behind me hook himself in. Fortunatley I did not see the actual impact (because he landed behind a tent about twenty feet away. But I will never forget the sound he made. He hit so hard his helmet was cracked, hislegs were obviously broken. I thought I had just seen someone kill himself. The good news is he is still alive, but from what I had heard he has several broken bones, both legs are severly damaged. I believe this particular jumper was from Kansas. If anyone knows who I am talking about please tell him that all the Hutchinson jumpers wish him the best! Is anyone going to Couch this year? "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

Hey There, A quick question for those of you who freefly with a camera. Is a side mount better than a top mount for freeflying? "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

In your opinion what is the best freeflying video out there? "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

HI I would like to know if any of you know if its possible to fit a PD 126 reserve into a Javelin that says it will fit a Tempo 120. I am refering to the RS1 and the NJ sizes of the Javelins. I have heard that its usually possible to place a larger reserve in a rig without jeopardizing safety but it would make the container look funny. Any input would be appreciated thanks "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

Hey there for all you out there who jump a newer Javelin or an Odyssey do you have any complaints on them in any way. At my DZ no one jumps them, its nothing but Mirages around here so it looks like Sunpath is willing to hook a brother up with a new Odyssey for an amazing price that I cannot pass up. So I just want to know what you think of them. I have tried one on and I love the ring harness Thanks "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

I was just wondering your DZs seemed to be pretty slow this year regarding fun jumpers? Mine has been quite slow this year, compared to last summer when we usually turned a King Air all day Saturday and Sunday. This year though we're lucky if we get 10 loads a day. I heard a lot of people seem to be getting out of the sport. "Insurance should called In case shit happens, if shit don't happen shouldn't I get my money back?"

Just wondering if anyone went to the Richmond Boogie last year? It looks we have a big group thats going, and I just want to know how the planes, and the vibes are there.
-
Yeah I have heard of him, however he jumped he before my time. But everyone here really liked him, they still always talk about him. Anyway its a really nice King Air

I am just curious if any of you know of DZs looking for a turbine during the winter months. Any responses are greatly appreciated!

I would try a larger slider first and if that does not work, then add pockets to the slider. I have a slider from a Extreme FX on my Sabre 135, and I just recently had pockets put on the slider. And I have had nothing but awesome openings since.

I need to Know from those of you who have recently completed the coach course, is the coach course exam that is used the same as the "old coach course exam" on uspa's website. Thanks Shain "ColdDuck"

I know the subject is wierd but I couldn't think of anything. anyway I have heard that certain areas of the country or certain DZs favor one container or the other. I am just wondering if its the same way with canopies? I noticed that most canopies at my DZ are PDs of some sort.
-
If money was not an option when it comes to gear, what kind of rig would you own. I would have to go with a Mirage MOS, with a Unisyn harness, freefly handle, soft reserve handle, maybe some tie-dye Safire 129 PD 126 reserve and a Cypres
-
I would like to ask those of you who have been jumping smaller canopies for a while, and especially any riggers out there. What do you think of the Mirage containers that allows you to jump a smaller main canopy while still have a larger reserve like a PD 160 or 143 for example. At first I thought this was a good idea, but then I thought about the possibility of having two canopies out at the same time. A Velocity 94 and a PD 160 would be a bitch to deal with I think. Anyway I am just curious as to what you folks think about this.

I am just curious if your DZ closes or only operates during the weekends during the winter. And if so when is your DZ opening this spring?
-
A Sabre 135 loaded at about 1.4 was the first canopy that I bought with about 65 jumps or so. Prior to that I jumped PD 190s or 170s
-
Just curious if the coach course is the same as the BIC

When I bought my rig I also got a tony freefly suit included. However I want a pair of pants mainly for summer jumping. And I also have some financial aid money burning a hole in my pocket.
