Sure speedracer, you can hold the camera....after all, somebodies got to!!!! Do you do stills and video, or should we enlist another for the stills??? (Hey, wouldn't it be more funny if you didn't get to take pictures of anything, 'cause NOTHIN'S gonna HAPPEN!!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Monroe is 19.50$ to 13.5 Although, they did charge me that to do a night jump at 10, but hey, I didn't mind, it was a night jump. In NZ is can be $30 a jump and that is to get to 9 in a c182, but other "more popular" dzs there charge you around $25 to 10. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

from our IM conversation.... Ooooooh SHIT.....I just released the bull now. Just watch our lovely Sistah turn into an evil dragon in about 2 posts. (cowering in a corner!!) Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

And, with that..... He shuts the Sis up!!!! Yeah, I win the grand prize, a speechless Sistah. Does that me I get jumps?? ("No, it means you get jumped!!", says Sistah) Oooo Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

YES, she IS!!!! I know, I have heard them!!!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Merrick, you SUCK!!!!! Seriously, though, like freaksis said, you are SOO ruining it for us. Two rigs in (what was it...4 months), shit, I would be lucky to give my woman to 1 present in four months, let alone 2 RIGS!!!!! Man, I hate to think what lengths us "pathetic" ones will have to go to live up to your ideal hubby role. Better start saving now, looks like whomever I end up with will be expecting a jump plane, or worse...a DZ with her name in it for a birthday present. Again, thanks for setting an impossible standard for us to live up to...... BUT....I have been hearing RAVE reports about your "lovely" wife, so Pammi, you go girl!!! You deserve the best! ...and if you ever let him go, can I borrow him for some 1 on 1 romance coaching? Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

thanks for that, froggie. What a sweet thought. I'll spill one down my throat for ya!!! Cheers, (another year older...on a plus side, I am one year closer to joining POPS!!) Now, there is something to shoot for. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

This is the colour of jealousy!!! Congrats Pammi, on both staying another year younger and your new rig. I will drink one for ya tomorrow while I am celebrating my b-day. My pressis happens in 11 days, so I am excited about it. Hope you LOVE your new rig, just not to death!!! Have fun, play safe... Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Cyber, she would only be mad if you had a video crew because she wouldn't have known that at the time, and she is a performer!!! So, not being able to perform for the camera would be a big disappointment to her. Fortunately (hopefully) I won't be!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

I can't seem to get the classifieds page to load up at all. Is there a problem, or is it just my 'puter? Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Well, not only did the jump ticket fairy come visit me, but the subscription fairy did too!!!! The SISTAH gave me a subscription to Skydiving magazine. What a sweetie!! Looks like she is going to have a visit she isn't likely to forget in a short while. And, you better bring the lubricant Sis, the Stars(bloody wankers!!) got swept, so you know what that means!!!!!! Barred up and waiting!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Actually, I am impressed they hit the ground! I have jumped over Rotorua and where there isn't thick bush, there is water (save of course, for the dz) So, how they managed to fall onto the earth is pretty incredible considering there is only about 10 meters from the runway to the lakefront (often people line up over the lake for their final). How funny though, if you think about it. I am of course glad nobody was hurt as I know the guys out there. FYI, Rotorua is the home of the NZPF. In case anyone cared! Since we're on that topic.... Anyone in GA do CRW? Esp. out of Monroe? Hey Cyber, you know any? I am keen to get into it. Got the briefing in NZ and was keen to jump, but weather didn't permit. Would love to try at the boogie this month. Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

uh.....okay?????? W!!!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Hey all, Just thought I would let you all know that at Skydive Monroe's Spring Boogie I will be putting up a sign by my tent that says it is the "DZ.com corner". Since the Freaksister is flying all the way out to GA to attend, and it is the home of Cyberskydive and myself, why not let all dz.com'ers come and meet up with us!! So, if you make the journey to Monroe in 16 days (and counting!), then stop by and we'll share a beer. And, if I happen to make my 100th jump, all in attendance can help with the pieing!! cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Pammi, I hear she isn't looking forward to the flying part!!! Either way, I am still looking forward to it, should be fun!
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ROTMFGLMAO!!!!!! ALL I CAN SAY IS, "THAT IS FUCKEN FUNNY!!!" After I picked myself up from the ground, I have to give it to you, you win for best and most appropriate pic!!! you got my vote!! Cheers, (still laughing) Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

don't know if it has been mentioned, but my HOTTEST 2 way to date is: linked exit-star(is a 2 way star really a star?)-sidebody-cat-star - repeat! alternate one does one full cycle, then acts as the docker while the other turns the points. Gets you really good at turning tight and relative. Hope you guys have fun. Remember, the best 2 ways are your own, so just be creative while being technical at the same time!!

jumps were awesome!!!! jump 1: went solo to get my "skylegs" back, and well, all went well until I deployed and realised I had inverted my risers!!! So, for a crucial couple of seconds I went through my emergency procedures, but I realised I had full control of the canopy and it was inflated and flying well, so I landed and sorted them out. jump 2: supposed to be a 4 way, but the visiting jumper from Estonia waved off early and we went along with the dive plan as a 3 way. Good jump. Cyberskydive falls really well, regardless of what he says! jump 3: FINALLY, after like 8 attempts, my first 4 way with all the plans going well and 7 points!!!(even though we counted it as 6, I got seven in my count, but consensus rules). So, that rocked!!! After deciding to quit, I got sucked in to a 6 way and packed my rig and went up one last time for the day. jump 4: Nothing happened that was supposed to (I went low and stayed!) I really should listen to my instincts more often. All in all, a great day and thanks for all your guys' support! It was good to be in the air, and I can't wait to fly with the Sistah in a few weeks! Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

I know this is pathetic to post, but FINALLY...After almost 2 full months of not diving....(my cutaway & night jump on saftey day were my last jumps)....I am going out to the DZ tomorrow and I am jumping not once, not twice, but perhaps four times!!!!(all I can afford right now) So, give me lovin' as I am going to have to go through all of my skills training in my head between now and tomorrow as I paint my bedroom walls! Cyberskydive, if you're thinking of going out tomorrow, do so. I would love to catch up with you! Catch you all in the yonder!!! Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Alls I can say is....y'all are soft!!!! NZ regs state that you have to have 8 hours from bottle to throttle, but I am living proof that it can be pushed to 4 hours if you just don't tell anyone(oops!) ...and, other substances REALLY help that ill feeling of being hungover and make your sleeps REALLY WONDERFUL, so you wake up refreshed!!! Many times I have been the last one drinking (and other!!

well, I have several that I refer to often for inspiration, but none have ever touched me SO much as this poem by Robert Service. If ever asked which is my favourite poem, this one comes out of my mouth faster than you can finish your question..... There are strange things done in the midnight sun By the men who moil for gold Those arctic trails have their secret tales, that'll make your blood run cold Those northern lights have seen queer sights But the queerest they ever have seen Was that night on the barge of Lake Lamarge When I cremated Sam McGee Now Sam McGee was from Tennessee Where the cotton blooms and blows And why he left his home, in the south to roam 'round the Pole God only knows It was Christmas day and we were mushing away Down the Dawson trail The icy cold through the parkas fold Would chill you clean to the bone.... it is like 7 pages long, so I will spare Sangiro the space, but if you ever want to read a FANTASTIC poem about friendship against all odds, then The Cremation of Sam McGee is perhaps the best. Cheers for the idea, man I love this stuff too! (SpeedRacer...Man, good on ya!!! My brother is the only other person I have met who can quote the Jabberwocky from memory!) Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Favourite beer - that is easy...SPEIGHTS! Pride of the South for over 100 years!! AMERICAN beer is like having sex in a canoe..... it's fuckin' close to water!!! So, unless it is foreign, it doesn't pass these lips! FOSTERS - it's australian for "it's the best we can do!" Heinies are too salty, but good in a pinch. Bass and Guinness are perfect, but Black Mac's is better! Monteith's Black is acceptable, but only if there are no Black Mac's!!! And, as far as Shiner Bock goes, well, I have way too many family in Texas and well, it is good, but not that good!!! Other than that, give me Tequila and Bacardi, or give me death! Unless of course, you happen to have a fine single malt, then a slow death is preferred...gotta give me time to enjoy the whiskey!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

I am going through the DZ lists and I can't find Quincy. Doesn't it exist? Or is it another name, but Quincy to everyone else. I was told it is near Chicago, but haven't found it in WI, MI, MO, IL, or OH. I know I am new to the country, and not that new to the sport, but where is this place??? It might help when I decide to go the BIG Quincy event that happens every year to know where it is!!!! Frustrated..... Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

good on ya!!! Personally, I am just learning about all these awards you can get for doing big ways and shite like that. I think they are cool! Enjoy the beer!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584
