Well since we are all introducing ourselves- hehe
pyke replied to cyberskydive's topic in The Bonfire
when you are in a 2 way link, you flip the other person over on their back and if your are really good, you can flip them over, then sit on them for a sec or two. I fruitlooped Sis and then went over the top of her laughing my arse off while she was on her back in disbelief/shock!!!! She isn't lying, her eyes were huge!!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -

maybe that is the one dive I keep forgetting too, and didn't log, thus why my count is off from the weekend. What did we do?? We did the rodeo dive, the 3 way, and what else??? Drive safe, girl, don't kill yourself on the way to the dz!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -

With All Due Respect and yes, let's not make this a drama. Pammi, I don't know what your thoughts on me are, but I can tell you that having never met you and hearing all about you from Sis...this goes against some of what she said. However, I won't hold it against you!! If I ever do meet you in person, though, I would hope you wouldn't prejudge me beyond repair. and cheers!! for the complement Sis, you are a barrel of laughs in the plane and when your shit gets turned over mid-fall!!!! Thanks for both of the dives!!!!! Looking forward to cashing in on my bet!! Cheers, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -

WADR, Pammi, please understand the situation before making snap judgements. I don't have anything against the Sis and I don't have anything against you. Things just didn't work out, but that is NO ONES fault, so blame doesn't belong to anyone. I love the Sis, and I wish her all the happiness in the world, just as she does for me(so she says). So, lets not jump into anything...except the atmosphere!! -

Well, aren't we both a little catty this afternoon?? I never said that the Sis wasn't any fun to be with, so let's all try to lighten up a bit, eh? That is, of course, unless the rules have changed on me?!! didn't realise it came to this, sis. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -

Well, not to prove the Sis wrong(aww, who am I kidding...you are SO wrong!!) Tapas are light meals that the SPANISH eat instead of tea(dinner for you yanks). The usually have lunch as their biggest meal of the day, then have an afternoon nap (siesta) then go out for dinner at a bar that has light meals and LOTS of drinks!!!(so is the way I was told by my Mum when she lived there) To all the guys that may potentially get hooked up with the Sis....GOOD ON YA!!! She is a character, but has a genuine heart. (mental note to yourselves though...KEEP HER AWAY FROM ALCOHOL AND SKYDIVING!!!!) She can handle both, just not together!!!!! -
Yo, HH, still having trouble. Just thought I would tell you, AM NOT trying to push you. Just thought you would want to know. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

actually this thread is appropriate because I remembered a story I heard at my last dz (in NZ) about a guy at the Equinox boogie in Aus one year. We're talking at least a 250-300lbs, red haired, Tasmanian who only believes in drinking guiness and eating beans when he goes to boogies. Anyway, apparently he forced an exit at 6grand for an entire skyvan!!!! The whole time...he had the biggest smile on his face!! To me, that is IMPRESSIVE!!!!! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

What's the difference between a prostitute, a girlfriend, and a wife???? a prostitute says..."Faster, faster, faster!" a girlfriend says..."Slower, slower, slower!" and a wife says..."Gray...I think I'll paint the ceiling gray." Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Yeah, but at least I am not on video, so I can deny everything!!!! Keep your eyes peeled, everyone, for the Monroe Spring Boogie video to see just how "strong" the Sis is!!!! In general, it was a great visit with the Sister! Did a couple of dives with her (fruitlooped her arse!!, and the look on her face when I did was PRICELESS!!!) Tried to do a rodeo dive with her and it went to custard, but still good fun! hope you had fun, sis, and thanks for the necklace!! Wearing it now (how would I shorten it a tad??) Well, I would have to say....absolutely NOTHING about your decision. It was right for you. Two examples from this weekend about judgement to illustrate... One of the AFF JMs showed up to the DZ on Sunday feeling ill. She was keen on working but didn't feel right, just a little off. We had a rain delay for whole meaning and some of the afternoon, but she thought it would get better later and she would be able to jump. It didn't, she felt like crap for the whole day (even after a nap, some breakfast and water). BUT...she lived to see another day. So, it was her decision to jump or not, and she chose what worked for her. Secondly, a student with only 9(!!) jumps went to deploy at 4 grand and something in the plane(?) or in freefall(?) (he had a videographer check his pins and stands by his word that they were fine), jostled his reserve pin and when his main came out, so did his reserve (cypres hadn't fired by exam on the ground, and the handles were still on his harness). So, he flew a bi-plane all the way to the DZ, making nice long turns and with a slightly bumpy landing, came in fine. Point of the story...he had been trained that if he had a canopy that was above him that met all the req's for a good canopy, then fly it. He had TWO of them, so no reason to cut away. He was applauded by EVERYONE on the ground for doing the right thing AND he put on another rig and got back in the plane. So, it worked for him. Doasfu, good on you. The one thing that nobody can blame you for is being here another day to go jumping!!! my .1 1/2$, Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Is skydiving really for married people? *DELETED*
pyke replied to triednolike's topic in The Bonfire
Sis, that is not what I am talking about, and you should know what I am getting at! You are NOT promiscuous, and I NEVER said that! Need I remind you about a certain person at your last dz?? Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -
Yet, you're coming to GA to meet ME? That only took 100$US and 3 days of your time...so, you might want to rethink that last statement! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Sis, you are SO FULL OF SHIT and you know why I say that!!!! But, you're right Emma, skydivers are the most shaggable people on the planet (referring to which ever sex floats your particular boat)! I would have to say that I have met some older and some younger women who skydive, but all of them have been completely shaggable...must be something about the constant fixes of adrenaline. Hey, maybe somebody could research this...a natural steroid for your libido!! Doesn't mean I act on it, of course. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -

Awww, PLFXpert...you're making me all weepy! That is cool that you have found your mate. (I hate you!!! -
I can relate to your plight, Doasfu. I have some friends who have been in frats and they were my friends before they went to school, so little changed. But, others became friends after school and hearing what they did and how they did it is very disturbing. Basically, they are friends with their "bros" and "sis's" because mummy and daddy didn't want them to be lonely, so they bought them friends. Awww, isn't that sweet. I personally never had any inclination to join one for pretty much why you hating your evening with your friends. This tradition runs in my family. My dad exacted revenge on his frat for his rush nightmare week and then turned his back on all that crap. It is amazing what you get from your parents. Sorry to hear that a night with the "guys" turned into a knitting circle. Puts "guys" in a bad light! Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

Taking the hint from the thread by chaz1234... got me thinkin'...is there any CRW dogs coming to the this boogie. I have wanted to start CRW since I was at a boogie in NZ and saw some of it. Looks like an incredible amount of fun. If you are coming...report to our "corner" and let me know! Cheers. Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584

I would have to say that I can understand the passion attached with the sport. And, I bet it would be hard for a whuffo partner to allow that much passion to distract their partners attention. BUT, Merrick is right. It is based on people, not a sport, and if you aren't a strong couple, then you aren't going to be a strong relationship with skydiving either. PLFXpert...does this mean we should all plan on the "wedding of the year" sometime soon. Sounds like someone's engaged!!!!??? Kia Kaha, Pyke NZPF A-2584 -
Dutch, Stttrrriiiiikke 3, you're outtta there! Once again, I think you way missed the point, but that's fine. I too have done such things, but my point was illustrated in my previous post. Once you get on the road, with a boogie as a destination, you tend you normally want to put some distance between you and your departure point. If you stop at dz's an hour from your departure, you have to sacrifice other stops along the way if you plan on getting there by an appointed time. And as for your beer comment...No, I am not "pissed off" and if there is ever beer in question...then I am never THAT mad to not enjoy it or the company!

Not to sound like an ingrate or even to sound hypocritical, but I'll be damned if you get the DZ in Micronesia!!!! How's this, once a year, I fly you down and give you a weeks worth of free jumping? That way, you get the best of both worlds! This is too funny, HH!!! I am registering tonight, and when my paycheck arrives, you get some of it!!! Have fun with it, and see you in the sky!!!(really, I hope when I go to visit my mum in SJ I can come jump with you. That would awesome! "THE MAN BEHIND THE LEGEND!!") Again, thanks for everything!!
