I wouldn't necessarily say "there is no stream" as that is a little too buddist/tibetan for me...but as far as stuff getting in my way....I don't tend to put forth much effort to change it...I am more the okay, this is different...and move on - kind of guy. Ok...I have heard it around the DZ a lot...and I would like to ask you all what you think... Do you prefer tube stoes or rubber bands? My rigger believes that you don't get consistent openings with stoes. he uses bands for all his *loops*. I was always told that stoes would last you like 100 jumps or something...and now that I have spectra lines...I don't want to have to be changing my bands all the time. anyone out there like one opposed to the other??? Ohh, oooh...I can relate to this!!! After learning how to pack tandems for *like 1 week* I got asked to teach students how to pack theirs for their certs (or at least show them how in a bit of a 1 on 1 class). That was a trip for me....I can hardly sort out my own packing..now I have to show others how to!!! Whatever!!! anyway...I agree w/ whoever said it first...it isn't how many jumps you have...it is what you DON'T know that makes you good in this sport. If you think you KNOW it all....karma will BITE your ass one day. A total BABY in the sport....and PROUD of it!!!!

Pets ROCK!!! Let's see.... I had a dog named Raskin...learned to walk by holding his shoulders! (Awww!!) At the same time had another dog named Zeke...ask my Dad...he is Texan! Had a cat named Paquiri (Quiggins)- after the Spanish bullfighter Had two cats named Sam and Polly....still have Polly. Ok, I know we have all been subjected to the "uninformed, semi-coherent babble" from whuffos, but this one took the fucking cake for me!!! I set up a couple of people from work to do some tandems this weekend, and one of the one that came out was 'apparently' the type of person who "researches" whatever he does before he does it. So, we are sitting in the plane on the way up to altitude and it was a fairly patchy cloudy day, so the climb up put us "near" a couple of them. I was commenting on how cool they are to fall "around" and he comes out with... "Did you know you can suffocate in a cloud" Well, I didn't want to point out his BLATANTLY obvious (for lace of a better word) STUPIDITY to the others, so I played along and played dumb. I even went so far as to ask a TM if that was true, and I am DAMNED glad the guy never saw the look on the TM's face!!!!!!LMAO Anyway, that was all. I laughed about that one for a while, and then when we were drinking later on that night...I reminded others of the 'dangers' of falling through clouds!!
