Doh...now you've done it! Gone and pissed off Uno! Not the wisest move, but I've got popcorn, so let the fun begin!! And, I've seen Senor Diamante's huck-a-bucks...you're in for a world of hurt!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

I'm trusting her with my canopy - without a deposit - so I guess I have to trust her!! But, having met her...and agreeing with the boozehag call and the hottie call - I'd say trust her!! After all, she's a skydiver from TX who can write and argue coherently...give her dark hair and body piercings - and I'd be on one knee faster than she could down her first drink! wait....she is pierced...doh!!

Well - I bought my last container from a guy who was giving it up and he gave it to me for a great deal. It got me in the air and gave me my love for the sport. It was an ugly rig, and often criticized for it's looks, but I had to be in the plane with you in order to get criticized, so who was really laughing?? (cyber!!??) I've emailed this person and offered to sell them both my container and my old main for a good price. I wouldn't think of selling something that wasn't up to airworthy, but I also recommended they get a rigger's opinion on it too! I'll fill you in on it if anything happens. I hope this doesn't make me a bad person, and I can relate to loving a sport you can't afford (i'm sure most on here can!), but if I can help bring another whuffo into the mix - who knows...that could be the next Olav, Dan B-C, or Roger Nelson! I hold a deep amount of respect for the individuals who gave of themselves to help on my journey (including the latest gift of my first BM flight - which I'm eternally debted for!! PZ you're the shiznit!) - and I feel it's part of the sport to be very accomodating to the next phase. Disagree?? Flame away... Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Hey...that's enough out of you, sir!! In another couple I should have my custom wings..then i'll be up in Raeford before too long - just you wait!! We'll both have to work on getting Kevin and Blair up there too - some serious flockin' fun to be had!

dude, I STRONGLY recommend the metallic silver thread!!! I don't know if you've put it on any of your rig, or your logo, but you still have time to add it!! It looks so good - I wish I had used it more!!

It's called "not letting my flatmate's dog in my room!!" Of course, unlike yours - she doesn't RUN the household!! And, you tell that Cyber 'punk' that he better get his but back to GA pretty soon! Thomaston is going to go off for Halloween - so you both should come out! I've got plenty of sleeping quarters for you both - so just say the word!! Man, oh man....just when you give up looking for the perfect one...she comes to you in the most unlikely of circumstances....and makes you forget all the rest!!

I know several "suckers" but not before I cum (damn keyboard!) clean.... Yup - major suckage here! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

Any ideas why this happens?? Bad juju, or weird superstition....or just plain dumb skydivers!!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

I agree with your rant!! I can relate to the jump numbers thing only too well - but there is a lot to be said for proving yourself!! Luckily, I can say that I have visited 2 seperate dz where I was not known at all, but upon hearing my jump numbers was relegated to the "smaller" RW groups. Luckliy - both of those groups happened to include well-respected members of those dz's who upon landing - made a point to announce how well I flew. The very next load, I was asked to participate in one of the larger formations - and we pulled that one, and another couple off! Now, this may come across as a big "pyke pats himself on the back" session, but it was merely to point out that if you can fly your slot, and perform your piece of the puzzle in the sky - then you'll gain the respect of the "gods" and not have too many more problems!! I was fortunate in my two experiences, but I've got countless others where I was not so lucky. All I can suggest - is hang in there. Been there....done that - signed the t-shirt!!! {{{{{VIBES}}}}} for Andi! May she heal fast and without issue!! [and what's this about mybrokenleg.com? I was laid up for nearly a whole month without being able to vent to anyone....where was this when I was grounded???] Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

I mean, hell...he's only trying to make up for his lack of intellect - he IS an AGGIE!!!! - (and choosing the wrong school) by being so dominate!! Let's just treat him like a monkey in a cage....and just watch him every once in while to see what he does!! (stand back though, he throws poop!!) Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

Sorry about that Turtlespeed.... I have 11 LONGHORNS in my family...so it's been ingrained in me from birth. A couple of my cousins have married AGGIES and I'm sure you can imagine the grief they get, but we love 'em anyway!!!

Precisely why I've yet to take it up....I like freefall - NO - I LOVE IT!! So, why take up a discipline that makes it go by so quickly!!! Not against it, but just not "into" it yet!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

Sounds like a great idea for a TAMUMemorial.... BUT: Make sure you get UT students to build it!! Otherwise - it will be the worlds most beautiful UPSIDE DOWN memorial!!! Hook 'em!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

Dude - that video ROCKS!!! I can see its possible, but you're right Blair - his wings were flapping like mofo!! I can see how much fun it would be to get right above a tracking dive...then open and wave ......goodbye!!! Thanks for indulging my afternoon mental wanderings!! MAN....do I ever wish I was back in NZ for this debut!!! I've jumped over Lake Taupo in their old plane "LTP", which was about as big (inside) as a king air...with a k.a. door to boot! LTP (featured in "Crosswind") is a modified Cresco crop duster; single engine - long span. Nice plane, but this one takes the cake!! It's good to see that bigger planes are making their way down to that part of the world. It's a country full of Cessna dzs (180s-210s), but if you can look past their small planes - I can honestly say.... You can't beat the scenery ANYWHERE in the WORLD!!!

Mocha - that just means you ROCK...and you work too fast!! Next time they send you somewhere like that....'invent' problems that take AT LEAST a day to sort out...and then "double check" your work!!! By then - the weekend should be there!! Well - we're planning a fun weekend in Monroe (as always) - so if you're up for it...c'mon out! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. I would hand deliver your main if I could....Delta just offered $128 direct to Austin...and had I not just gone there - I would so be up for it!! And I even asked for you while I was there....so don't go whining, "no one's going to be there"....I was there - where were you? It seems you have a nasty habit of getting people to the dz...and then standing them up (see above, from ND) So, it looks like WE should be the ones whining that we never get a JESSICA to play with!!! Okay - so I'm bored at work and wishing I were somewhere else right now.....BUT: the thought just occured to me and I thought I'd throw it out there... can you (is it possible) to FF in your suit?? What about collapsing the leg wing and using it as sit fly suit (of sorts)? Or even a camera suit?? Anyone experiment with this idea for $hits and giggles?? Do tell..... In the age where you need a suit for almost every darn aspect of the sport - what kind of versatility do these suits have? My random thoughts for Thurs. afternoon! I suppose if I was had my rig in front of me - I could have figured that one out!! Thanks Kevin - ewe da man!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

LMFAO!!! Can you imagine....a sub-100 ft2 main would actually be a "student" canopy to one!!! That would be hysterical! They'd have to fly Luigi's 46'er to get better than a 1:1 loading!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. Rigger, RN/BSN/Paramedic

I am already running away at the thought. Didn't you get the press release that I am no longer single?
