  1. Kool deal. I thought you were pulling my ripcord. What tip? Thanks and Blues, J.E> James 4:8
  2. Kallend, Jealousy is such an ugly animal........... When we grow up I hope we can be just like them................. Blues Brother, Gone for the weekend. Be safe. J.E. James 4:8
  3. Check with the canopy manufactures and you will find most tell you not to pull your slack to the canopy or bag. Pig tails are loops caused by slack line and twist when the twist catches another object, i.e. lines, canopy, before knotting up. Do what ever trips your trigger but, never quit learning Blues, J.E. 4. Hey, great. Do it every time if you want! I watch my lines and notice when they are starting to twist up and take care of it then. When I land one of the first things I do is stow the brakes. This tends to reduce the twist when you are jumping several times a day. Watch those students who come in dragging a toggle, pick up the rig when they drop it and notice how much twist they have! What we do not realize some times is that everytime we stow the brakes we have the opportunity to put a half twist in the line simply by which side of the loop you place the toggle through. It's kind of like brushing your teeth. Three times a day is recommended, but six times is great! Keep it up! Glad you're back too!!! From an old flat/side packer to another!!! Blues, J.E. James 4:8
  5. Canada or the earthquake state?? Tell me what crapflinger2000 means. I took it from your soldiering iron and file comment that your were spreading the bull, get it, crap-flinger?????
  6. Didn't you used to be one????????? Blues, J.E. James 4:8

  8. JP, Yu da man!! (just wait until you are 50...........) Blues, J.E. James 4:8
  9. Boy did you pick the right name....... "krap-flinger2000"
  10. Hook, It's kind of like the coach rating where JM's had to actually fly with an evaluator. Judgement, skill level, ability, and doubts about if they can walk the walk or just talk the talk. Many people fear that exposure. No biggie........ Blues, J.E. James 4:8
  11. That probably makes two of us! Tell you what, just ask DJan (I'm sure you know her) what an A-- I am. She'll let you know. However, picture this, court room setting. "Well Mr. S&TA can you tell the court why in the world you signed Mr. konradpt's waiver and then watched Mr. konradptr "SLAM" ( that's Stupid Low Altitude Maneuver in case you don't know) into the ground and kill himself? How many times did you witness Mr. konradptr's landings prior to signing the waiver? Why in the world would you believe that Mr. konradptr's skill level was so high that he no longer was required to comply with the rules and regulations of the USPA even though he was not qualified as stated in the rules and regulations? Get the idea? As an S&TA we are supposed to verify that we all follow the BSR's and industry standards. I don't care to hang my rear out for a 400 jump hot dog that believes he's bullet proof. I've watched to many over the years "slam" and then blame something other than poor judgement. I'm glad (make that proud) you would be grandfathered too. Be safe. "Altitude not attitude". Blues, J.E. James 4:8
