Instead of using West Point Virginia in www.Mapquest.com use Mattaponi Virginia from Lexington Park Maryland. That will give you the shortest way. "Skydive the Point'' is very dog friendly. The club organization is a Matriarchy and that's how the Manly Men like it. Did I mention for special events we have a CASA or two. Do not land in the water and we've got a shit load of trees---see attached. I Jumped with the guys who invented Skydiving. -

From the USPA web site. March 2002 - An airport group sent proposed security recommendations for general aviation airports to the TSA, including: perimeter fencing, pedestrian and vehicle gates, and criminal history checks on all FBO and tenant employees. USPA responded in a letter to TSA, pointing out that Congress never provided the TSA with authority over general aviation airports. TSA has since agreed that it has no authority over GA airports. This is the place to jump in Hawaii http://www.pacific-skydiving.com/---beware of parking lot politics with the DZ next door, it can get intense. The view is paradise, green mountains on one side---big blue ocean on the other. Nude beach nearby I Jumped with the guys who invented Skydiving.

I'm looking for the "Can I be on your Ash Dive" shirt, I saw one at Burnaby Ontario last June. We've got an Ash Dive coming up at West Point Virginia , the shirt will be a big hit. Michael Mancuso was the pilot of the Twin Beech, Guy Wright was in the door of the aircraft. Both were wearing pilots uniforms and black makeup. I Jumped with the guys who invented Skydiving.

Nancy LaRiviere and Sally Hathaway both did the stunt jumping. Billy Richards flew the helicopter doing the filming, Guy Wright was responsible for safety. I watched intently when the girl in the yellow dress got thrown out of the Beech D-18, I believe it was Nancy LaRiviere. The reaction in the theater was "gasp". Bill Booth is recovering in Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach Florida from an angioplasty with a stint. He had 80% blockage in a main artery in his heart. I Jumped with the guys who invented Skydiving.
