I don't see that at most home dz's and probably for the exact reason that Chuck mentioned...students. But I do have to agree that I have seen it all too many times at boogies. Tee

Are you looking for a spanking??? I like this game too tee

Hey Jessica...once HH comes back, I'm sure he will clean up the few people that are having a hard time being civil to one another and we will be back in business! One thing I have always loved about the skydiving community and these forums is that we are all one big "family" and there are still alot of us here!
-
Finally...some good news about this whole ordeal. Glad to hear that you are okay.
-
Oops...typed that wrong...If you HAD to agree with everything your friends said, you wouldn't have any. Sorry Skreamer!

Hear...hear Pyke!

I agree as well (wow I think this is the most agreeing and positive communication I have seen on this board in weeks! ). Everyone has their own way of dealing with emotionally difficult situations. Whether you find it funny or distasteful or in poor timing, I'm sure many of you would find it funny if you didn't know what building was crumbling or the situation that was being captured in the picture. Even in Canada we are feeling the emotionally devastated over the events of our neighbors and friends. I too am still missing a friend who works very close to the WTC. Usually I come to this site to find comfort and laughs and to generally escape everyday life, but lately we have become negative towards each other and the whole integrity of these forums is diminished. If I wanted this, I would have stayed with Rec.skydiving. Why can't we just support each other and allow others to have different opinions without swearing and flaming them?
-
My heart goes out to everyone in the US. Even here in Canada we are experiencing a feeling of complete devastation. What has happened to you, our neighbors and friends, is unimagineable. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. *Hugz* Tee

Sorry to hear about your bad luck! I agree that they owe you the jumpsuit. Even if it is on the terms that you will continue to try to help them find the money order number, acquire a stop payment and reissue another one. But if that ends up impossible, you held up your end of the bargain, it isn't fair you are out the money and the jumpsuit because of their negligence. Tee

Hey Slappie, you took the words right out of my mouth.

Remi...you live in Edmonton??? Where do you jump at Westlock or Eden???
-
Well, I can't complain either. I live with a skydiver....need I say more???? Tee

I haven't got mine yet but I just saw them on the website and they look AWESOME!!!!! (of coarse they do....look who the designer is! ) I can't wait!!!!!!

I am not completely blind (-2.5) but I still wouldn't attempt to land without my glasses. (though it may provide some good entertainment for the spectators) Generally I wear my glasses or sun glasses under my full face helmet but I have also worn my contacts under some good tight fitting goggles and have never had a problem. A Spectre. AWESOME all around canopy and you can just stuff them in the bag....jump...and never have a problem! now for something interesting....hmm...I got it....this weekend we are launching a 5 way (5 ft. blow up shark included) from the C-182 whilst wearing bikini's, water-wings and full snorkel gear for a fund raiser we are having. Should make for a great video.

ROFLMAO!!!! Thankfully he wasn't my instructor! But because of my gymnastics background, I used to arch with my back and chest instead of my hips. So my instructor (who is now my boyfriend ) used to tell me stop flirting (sticking his chest out) and get right to the sex (now arching with his pelvis) Apparently I listened....and not just in skydiving! lol Tee

Then you will love this one too Zen. One of the instructors at our dz is from Oz and with his cute little accent he always says with a huge amount of enthusiam...and I quote..."Stick your dick out and FUCK THE WORLD mate." Tee
-
I agree 100% Zen. Dancing on the cloud edges while under canopy can be fun and a thin layer in free fall is fun too, but to come out of a cloud at 3000 ft and realize there is someone opening right under you or or beside you and still having to track some more......I say if you are going to play, play safe. Tee

ROFLMAO! Well....I'm an auditor....need I say more???? Tee

Hey Diva. We determined that I have an allergy to surgical steel because I can't wear it in my ears either. So he ordered up a gold ring and within no time it was healed up!

We are doing a fundraiser at our dz next weekend for a "family" member who was hurt a couple of months back. One of the competitions we are having is the Zoo Load (craziest fun jump). So this weekend I get to practice launching a 6 foot blow up shark out of a C-206 with 3 other people, while dressed in a snorkel set, flippers, bikini and grass skirt!!! I'm not sure the 206 is even 6' long, so the video should be quite interesting!

I got my navel done twice and it just wouldn't heal. Then my friend who owns a tattoo and body peircing studio told me to try gold and sure enough, it healed up fast and I have never had a problem with it since (3 years ago)! I also have always loved butterflies. They are beautiful and symbolise change (from the caterpillar to the butterfly) and freedom, so I have a very elegant/feminine one on my lower back.

Skreamer darling...you know us dz.com gurls say this on a regular basis! Tee
