just fyi. the definition of "moderately" can vary a bit, but a "moderate" boogie to me means at least two turbine aircraft so potential for 28-48 persons in the air at any given time. I was actually going to make a reference here to another socially "hot" topic, but decided not to b/c it would most likely send this thread straigt to the speakers corner. Maybe not a 270, but definitely more than a 90. That shit will get you grounded yo! on a serious note: I only went once in 2003. I stayed for 7 days and had an awsome time. I met so many peeps, and made only a few jumps. Its been an icon in the sport for a long time, and I work with a guy that lived near there growing up, but never jumped, and even he talks highly of the event. dood. Love ya brother. But NONE of us are saying that a HP landing into traffic is safe or allowed. What we are saying is that we are failing to address the entire issue, and root cause. Poor canopy piloting skills among many from just off student status to multiple thousands of jumps in some cases. Hope to see you tonight. Lets have a beer. Then perhaps you should reevaluate your involvement in a high risk sport such as skydiving? - No need to re-evaluate. I understand that there has been, and always will be accidents. Its a high risk activity, but IMHO, to have an "acceptable" level means that were ok with 2, 3, or more accidents per some time frame.
