Custom ported by me. 2.02 int, 1.60 exh, brass guides 1.05 springs, 7/16 studs, girdles etc 4500 TCI converter '69 chevelle 12 bold with moroso brute strength posi and 4:56 gears Ok. Only the serious gears heads will get most of that, but there aint much like sitting behind the of a 450hp 11.5 second race car. Its kinda like your first ride in a 7 min to altitude King Air. I've taken her on a few long drives, and plan to do some more in the upcoming months. I'll get 'er up there! Nope, no brakes! Notice the spelling. Im astounded at how many times Ive put brakes on the thing. Other than that its been crazy reliable. Only usual maintenance. FYI chief: I spent 10 days there. Feared for my life for a few of em. I was robbed. The airline that flew me from from the mainland to broke into my luggage and stole my video equipment, then told me I was lying when I tried to confront them about it. I was threated by police while in a taxi. I was told by retired Germans (people I befreinded and helped us while we were there) who live there that "they dont like americans here" Oh, and then when I tried to leave I had to pay a "tax" to the immigration people of $20 US, even though I had a paid recipt of the "exit tax" they charge. so, I like to smack talk. Ok. I just got a call from our little Jessie. She is back in the US and should be in Sebastian in a few hours. I left the explanation for later, but the quick of it is: They booked a flight to the island, figuring they'd get a flight back when they were ready to leave. All the flights were full. Then, they though we'll catch the ferry. Nope, the ferry was full for days. According to her they've spend the past two days trying to get on that ferry, and made it today.
