  1. I'm curious to hear this, too. Don't hold your breath for a reasonable response. IMO, a society that elected to opt out of meat eating for the sake of better health, cleaner environment, and less animal suffering would be taking a big step UP the "food chain".
  2. A tasty bowl of Pebbles 'n Twigs is a perfect way to start the day -- just ask Euell Giibbons. . . =(_8^(1)
  3. Exactly. There will be extra doses of soma for you in today's ration Jakee. . . =(_8^(1)
  4. I voted yes, though I've been a vegetarian for 4-5 years now. And I'm a much heathier and happier person for making the change. Plus, it's sort of nice knowing I am no longer a significant contributor to the incomprehensibly vast amount of animal suffering that occurs thanks to our fat-assed, unhealthy nation's lust for meat. "Responsible" meat eating is fine by me, but it sure is disgusting seeing so many people right in this thread make light of such a large scale problem in terms of animal suffering. It's the height of low compassion and unenlightenment. . . =(_8^(1)
  5. Excellent. You obviously NEVER meat eat at restaurants or fast food places, and carefuly select your meat choices at markets, or hunt your own. Good man! . . =(_8^(1)
  6. My problem with FOX (and the others to a lesser extent) is that they package up the "news" as entertainment. There was a thread on here a couple years ago that woke me up to that. I mean, do we really need slick bass lines and dramatic entrance music to learn the news around the world? No, I decided, and have since shed myself of all "entertainment" type news formats, FOX at the top of the list. And yea, their chronic inaccuracies don't win me over much either. . . =(_8^(1)
  7. Just a little Freudian slip -- nevermind all that. We now return to our normal broadcast. . . =(_8^(1)
  8. Must you bring the Clintons into every argument? www.fair.org/index.php?page=1689 Yep, I recall the story way back when. Couldn't resist anyway . . . . . =(_8^(1)

  10. Please vote. I'm surprised to hear some people think we aren't ready for a female or minority. . . =(_8^(1)
  11. That's an interesting view that keeps surfacing. Why isn't the US ready? . . =(_8^(1)
  12. Did you mean Robin Williams? Yes, he is a twat. . . =(_8^(1)
  13. There is a near 50-50 chance we will see one or the other elected this very year. . . =(_8^(1)

  17. As soon as we can use any of those items to propel our Hummers around town grocery shopping and picking up kids, we'll be there like a shot. . . =(_8^(1)
  18. The results are in -- we're stuck with Turd Sandwich vs. Giant Douche AGAIN. . . =(_8^(1)
  19. Facinating argument you got there -- nobody but US citizens can have an opinion on the election process. . . =(_8^(1)
  20. Welcome to Hillary Clinton's exact view on the election process and it's problems. She would make them 100% publically funded. . . =(_8^(1)
