    Easy to figure that one out - inside his heart, Obabma agrees with the racist views held by Wright. To think otherwise is a big stretch. People just don't attend a church for 20 years while at the same time rejecting the pastor's views.     Certainly, but in this case the pastor is a bit extreme. Imagine you attended a mostly white church, and the pastor there set about railing about how black folks are oppressing our nation with their crime and drugs. I bet you'd walk out of there very quickly. For me, and probably most, the impact of this event will be determined by exactly what can or cannot be proven about what Obama knew. We do want to know Obama's true character, right? . . =(_8^(1)

    I'll be married soon, and the Spitzer thing prompted a discussion on that very vow. We'll state a line similar to that, but agree it is a very important and sincere promise, not a binding "no exceptions" agreement. . . =(_8^(1)

    Phrasing the question that way allows me to more easily imagine what I would do under those circumstances, and I'm betting I indeed would willingly support my wife by walking up there with her despite my feelings or future intentions.
