  1. I do hope the message does not fall on deaf ears. . . =(_8^(1)
  2. I'm trying to learn english, really I am! . . =(_8^(1)
  3. I agree with you about "best" being a qualitative statement. Of course, I never mentioned "best" in my post, so maybe you'll consider saving your strawman arguments for juries? "Freest," while not absolutely quantitative, is much more so than "best," and I offered quantitative evidence supporting my assertion that the US is not more free than all of the countries listed in the article quoted in the opening post, in response to the OP's claim that those ten nations did not enjoy as much freedom as US citizens enjoy. The US ought to be the most free, or right up there, given our Constitution, but sadly is not. . . =(_8^(1)
  4. The US is the best. And if you disagree, we'll kick your ass. . . =(_8^(1)
  5. There are lots of mentally challenged children out there who go into fits of uncontrollable violence caused by abandonment issues and/or other problems. Also, some 11 year olds are very well developed physically. From the article, it seems a much justified use of taser submission. . . =(_8^(1)
  6. Cleopatra Alexander the Great Amelia Earhart Moe Howard Cosell I was all these people in a previous life, and would love the chance to get to know myself a little better. . . =(_8^(1)
  7. I have actually been considering that, but it will be dificult to do timewise. Still a possibility though. . . =(_8^(1)
  8. At least McCain hasn't had to dodge sniper fire in recent years like a typical white person. . . =(_8^(1)
  9. I bought a few pounds of 100% grass fed Bison from a local Colorado farm last summer to try. Pretty good, extremely lean, but too expensive to make a habit out of. . . =(_8^(1)
  10. Only on blonde chicks. Gives them a place to hook their ankles. . . =(_8^(1)
  11. Quit eatin' so many hamburgers then. And oh yea, buy a smaller car too. and don't fart so much. And build a grass hut, and live in it. . . =(_8^(1)
  12. I don't know about him. He hangs around outside FOX News headquarters, panhandling for interviews. . . =(_8^(1)
  13. Quit eatin' so many hamburgers then. And oh yea, buy a smaller car too. . . =(_8^(1)
  14. I've asked that very question to numerous kids and invariably recieved the same answer: "I don't know", followed by a shit eating grin. . . =(_8^(1)
  15. Well, there ya go busting me for screetching too loudly in one way or the other, as usual. I realize the saggy pants thing isn't an automatic death sentence for a kid, but I do not like it. Maybe it's a regional thing, but where I am it's just not as common as it seems to be in other places, and like I said, the kids coming into my fiance's boot camp are mostly all saggy pants/exposed butt floss fans. It's the wierdest fad I've ever seen, and I wonder if it's been done before like the more common long hair/short hair or skirt length cycles. . . =(_8^(1)
  16. Dammit, you're onto me. . . =(_8^(1)
  17. Touche. Removing teaching of the established science supporting evolution from schools is a ridiculous idea. . . =(_8^(1)
  18. Yep, I may vote the independant for just that reason. If enough people do that, a real message will be sent, and the vote won't be "wasted" as some would argue. . . =(_8^(1)
  19. Agreed, it doesn't happen every day, but the article merely pokes fun at the mentaility that leads to stupid rules like that, and that mentality IS prevalent today. It's a similar mentality to those who believe we shouldn't keep score at soccer, or paddle our kids when they're brats. Now I won't name the political persuasion that's behind that type of mentality, 'cause that always gets me in trouble around here. . . =(_8^(1)
  20. Please add me to this list. If I have to resort back to making fun of your dots to get an invite, I certainly will.
  21. I doubt anyone actually buys it, not even Billvon. The definition of a person that embellishes the truth to make themselves look better is "pathological liar". So now we have a pathological liar versus a bigot running for the democratic nomination. Great. . . =(_8^(1)
  22. Exactly true. We move forward on some stuff and backwards on other stuff. Net effect = humanity is still a goofy thing. . . =(_8^(1)
  23. But the way we handle their actions has indeed changed, some for the better, but many for the worse. Read the news. Ridiculous stories come out often thanks to dumbass policies in effect all over the country. I think the article is meant to illustrate that. . . =(_8^(1)
