A suit in the uk will cost you around £300 if you go for the inner leg grippers etc. I think you should go for the booties and tuck them up for a while maybe. People in the states need to realise if you import a suit to the UK you pay for the suit, then you pay for shipping, then you pay VAT. Suits here will cost you about £300. If you just want to get through the levels of flying that boring rw to get you up to being allowed to freefly, dont waste £300 on a RW suit, get a second hand one for £100 and buy yourself a protrack with the rest of the money. If RW is the disciplin you want to get in, spend your cash on a top quality suit with all the bells and whistles as this suit will last you. Well i am talking about a person here that starts WARP training on 25 jumps. Dont you thin she should get use to the sky and the feel on her own body before she goes and covers more up? A person with 25 jumps putting booties on straight away can not be the greatest idea. Let the student get use to jumping before changing things on them. You must know a student can only jump with a coach in this country until they have completed a 4point 4 way. Or they can jump with others as long as every person on that dive has passed the set 4 point 4 way with them being the main worker. First suit you need in the UK is an RW suit. Do not even think about getting a Freefly suit as you must past different levels of qualifications before you can even atempt to freefly. You need to get all your WARP in or at least to a level where you can pass your 4 point 4 way to be able to jump with other jumpes who do not have FS1. You can then after usually 100 jumps at some dropzones buy an FF suit and move on to sit fly coaching so you can then pass your FF1 to be able to sit fly with others. RW suit is more or less a must. Thanks, i like to hear this from people with lower jump numbers cause it is them that are new to this and know what is good about boogies, i think the people that have been to so many boogies are getting involved far too much with politics and shit. I can wait for the WFFC but i hope it aint full of people with egos that bash other boogies as that is really turning me off. Our group is going to the WFFC. I have to say though, i dont know who is involved in what boogie but all this bitching has definetly lowered my expectation and at the same time my excitment. Maybe that is a good thing though cause i will not have my hopes raised to high. I would like to go to the Skyfest as well but money does not stretch that far. This could have been a great thread until it was ruined but what seems to be people affiliated with each boogie putting each boogie down and going on about whos landing area is safer. Anyway, there are a group of 10 of us from the UK and new zealand that are wanting to meet up at the WFFC, but we could be pulled towards skyfest, Someone is saying that there is 3 special aircrafts rolling up for a few days. Can someone tell us what these aircrafts are or at least what dates they are coming. You see we are tossing up between flights to chicago on the 18th, or 21st or 23rd. I don want to know who is better or anything, i just want to know what or when these three special aircraft are rolling up. I got to admit, there does not seem to be much excitment about the WFFC on the forums this year it seems to be that spaceland is the talk of this year, makes me wonder if the WFFC will even pull 1000 people this year. We are all from NZ and uk and after Eloy want to go to the biggest boogie we can find as Eloy really blew our minds away at xmas and we want to go where this can be topped. I think it is shit what this guy has done. If he did it under his username, fine, but to hide behind another name and trash the business that helps you continue your sport is wrong. That is fair enough from your experiences Dave, I have seen a student just graduate AFF and then buy himself a digital alti, cool, he is playing with it around the dropzone learning all the cool features on it and then it is kit on call, he is kit on still playing with it and then late for the load. Instructor stops him for his gear check as he is running off to the plane. Cypres is not turned on, chest strap is twisted. Sure, it is the instructors job to notice this stuff but he does not need gear checks anymore as he is 'A' licensed now. My point is that students have far to much more to worry about than a new toy that reads climb rates, freefall speeds etc.... In the UK, or maybe it is just the drozpzone i jump at, there is a minimum requirement to jump a digi. Dave, i think if they start off on a digi, that is cool, i dont know about safe, but i am just use to analogue where it is even color coded come pull time. I think students should not change gear from what they have learnt on so early. It may not be as important as some gear issues but it is a distraction. This bloke was so excited over jumping his new neptune that he did not turn his cypres on or sort out his chest strap, he should be excited that he is jumping from a plane and has turned his cypres on and taken all safety precautions, not fixated on a new toy so early on. .Karnage Krew Gear Store .
