I appreciate what you say about being smart about downloading, but I've had my local trusted PC doctor tell me that there are so many viruses that are had from sites that are so seemingly innocent, such as kid's game sites. Perhaps those viruses are the more initially benign in nature, but they eventually use up resources, blah blah.
