  1. Newer video of Team Future Search for Team Future Tunnel and see what they're up to now. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  2. That looked scary fun! Love the idea and may just have to follow your madness. Try Shortening the lines so it's harder for it to twist up and you may want to make the slider a bit smaller. Holes were a great idea. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  3. You have the greatest potential to be jumping during the week if you go to Lodi. You can also call out to Lincoln as well. Where in California will you be? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  4. Sounds like I need to go visit Pat pretty soon. Gun range next to the landing zone in Yolo county. Yep, the sound echos back down from the canopy. I wondered what I was hearing the first time I actually noticed it and kept looking up for whatever was making the noise. Gabe, a golden retriever, belonged to another skydiver. The dog adopted it's owner one day so there was no history of the new pet. She told me that one day while going for a walk in a field to play ball, she learned it was a true retriever. A shot rang out and the dog perked up and ran toward it. Fast forward to a day at Skydance. The dog was in the back of the pick up with tailgate latched but the back window was up. It's a pain in the dog's ass to get out over the tailgate due to it not being a young dog. After breakfast we were walking back to our own vehicles to get our gear. When we got to her truck, she said... "Shit, where's Gabe" You guessed it Both of us in unison: "Gun club... F**K" (note that the gun club was not open for shooting before breakfast so it didn't occur to her) So we ran over there walked in to find Gabe frothing at the mouth, tied to a tree with a water dish at it's paws. He was maniacally hopping back and forth toward the sounds of gun shots just going nuts with anticipation. The End. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

haha... if you say so You are right though, It does read less light hearted than intended. That came off a bit strong and could have been worded a bit more appropriately. Duly noted I don't understand your comment about the Blackjack. What did you mean? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

    Racer

There is a few more reasons to jump a Racer: -I never saw one single case of premature opening on Racer; I have. A few times. Many people I know have too. You've really missed out. -You check your reserve pins on the ground and forget it. Your friends can kick you on the back, you can rest your back against any military aircraft seat or hit the top of the door at the exit (see that nice picture of a "sloppy tandem exit at Skydive Magazine #330) ; Don't really care, I don't let people do that to me. -Your packer can route the main's bridle in any direction and it will not cause a pilot chute in tow; It can be done but.... you (or someone who packs for you) can actually do that with most if not all rigs. Regardless, the person who packs should have a clue not to cause a PC in tow. -Your packer can close the main container in any order he or she thinks it's right and it will not cause a pilot chute in tow; Same answer. It can be done but ... you (or someone who packs for you) can actually do that with most if not all rigs. Regardless, the person who packs should have a clue not to cause a PC in tow -The only harness made from type XIII; Who cares? Seriously? Why does this matter? If it's the claim hardware never slips, find another reason. -The only rig on the market that you can custom order to a specific size of main and reserve canopy. Again I don't care. I've seen plenty of good combos and you'd be surprised what a manufacturer will do if you have a sound reason. I'm not a Racer fanatic. I just couldn't find anything better to worship. Your post proves you are a Racer fanatic. Tis ok, I don't hold that against anyone. I can say just as many reason if not more about an Infinity but as much of a fan of infinities I am, people still buy other rigs. 9. Gotcha. So were you suggesting slider down or slider up? edit: or were you just throwing in the airspeed argument for the heck of it? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  10. From memory. 1 second 16 feet 2 seconds 48 3 seconds 96 So about 60 would be right. I'm willing to do that from a fixed object but no an airplane, even if it can go under 60 mph airspeed at exit. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  11. For timing perhaps but no, it's nothing like a dead air exit and holding position for 3 seconds. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto

  13. I have 2 bikes. R6s and CBR1000rr and I really doubt I could or would have done differently. She was screwed once the guy spun out. That was a very unexpected and unpredictable type of cutoff. A car not seeing you and taking your lane is one thing, but that would not have been easy to deal with. Most riders put in that predicament would have crashed. The others would have just been lucky. 14. Yep it linked this time, that's why I tend to type it B A S E but now I'll do it like you do basejumper
  15. haha.. I KNOW that Means when I typed out basejumper
  16. Spoken like a true experienced rider. Make a few circles then go for it
  17. You beat me too making my second edit. Integrity risers were built by many manufacturers for many years so those actually may be stock. I don't know the add it came from and the picture is pretty small to try and figure it out. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  18. That's pretty typical of large handle reserve ripcords contained between the 2 layers of the Main Lift Web. It's worse on shorter harnesses like that one. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  19. I guess bucket list. When I saw a picture of an AFF level one, it re-sparked my interest int trying it. Before I even went to the dropzone, my mind was made up to skydive from that point onward. I don't jump as often now but I'll probably never stop completely. 22. I suppose I should add what to do for roundabouts. In case of no traffic, shift body position forward and 1/2 butt cheek off seat, pelvis will face more inside as well. load the inside peg stick knee out, body off to the side and looking into the direction of the turn. . Push outside thigh into the tank and accelerate around the circle as many times as time allows. More or less My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  23. Strange why it doesn't hyper link yours I use spaces so it doesn't hyperlink. rockclimbing does it too but since it didn't work for ficus, it may not work for this post either. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
  24. That's a fucking stupid re-name for something that already had a good one I've always known them to be roundabouts and I've lived in the US my whole life. Hmmm??? This is the first I've heard it called a Traffic circle.. Perhaps I need to get out more? My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
