Some are hedging their bets, except the Poles and several other countries to whom America has led the way out of oppression. The Brits, the Danes, and several other smaller countries who still understand what America stands for. I should say most discerning Brits!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Um, they did win the White House, so thank you for being in agreement with me. Quote I'm not agreeing with you, don't let the facts get in the way. I'm willing to help bridge the gap, are you? I gave credit to Kerry, you won't give credit to anyone with different views. Deal with it my friend! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
-
If the republicans just won the White House I'd have to agree with you, BUT the dems lost seats in both the house and senate. That is a mandate. Just admit it dude, you lost, deal with it. As far as Kerry goes, kudos to him for doing the right thing. I'm sure his people crunched the numbers and there was no way he was going to win. His concession speech was classy and gracious No matter what side you are on, let's move on and get the country moving forward TOGETHER!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Please, Feel free to drive north! The country has spoken. With that said, if the republicans can't get things done in the next 2/4 years. They are going to get slammed. Does that make you feel better? "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Forget making him drop his gun belt! I would have snatched him up for disorderly conduct. There is no reason for him to be carrying a firearm openly into a polling place. If he is a CCDW holder then no problem, conceal it. Having an open firearm in a public place makes people very uncomfortable, even some good conservative ones. This kind of crap makes gun owners look like a bunch of nuts. This guy was looking for a confrontation. This is a total waste of the courts time if he takes it that route. With that said, I voted after I got off work at 0600, I was in uniform with my firearm. I'm assuming this would make him feel "disinfrancised" (i have no idea how to spell that) if he found out. No special rights for the cops right? Let the flaming begin......... Common sense should rule here, however when you are dealing with the fringe of any group of people, common sense goes out the wind and into the courts. IMHO "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

No, What I am saying is, do the right thing for the country. With the amount Kerry would have to make up it is HIGHLY unlikely he would, or even come close to the amount for that matter. Expecting Kerry to do the right thing is wishful thinking. This is not a mandate by historical standards, but compared to 2000, it is a mandate. I expect kicking and screaming in the new Michael Moore tradition, more than Kerry manning up and doing what is best to help the country. And, I'd love to play cards with you sometime, daddy needs a new pair of shoes!! Bring it on!! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
-
Thats my point! Do the dems want to take the high road and TRY to help re-unite the country? Or do they want to kick, scream, and sue? The high road may set the stage for 2008. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
-
Okay Democrat peeps. Give it up, pending any lawyering-up. Which I'm sure will happen. GWB has it!! An interesting point could be made. If Ohio and New Mexico go red (which it appears they will including possibly Iowa) , should Kerry take the moral high road and concede? Thus setting setting a positive tone for the democratic attempt in 2008. Or should Kerry sue, yell, and scream? Thoughts? The margin in Ohio should be over 100,000. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

I'm pretty conservative, BUT I can only take Rush for a short peroid of time. Some his rants border on whining (the same thing he accuses the libs of). "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Man that is WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!! If your gonna bring it, at least bring something....... Maybe there is hope......... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Oh yea, I forgot, you EU types BUTT OUT!!! Especially you yellow toothed Limeys. Let us have our fun! (Just kidding, taking a page from the Guardian vs. Ohio voters, I'm orginally from Ohio). I wish I were voting in Ohio, maybe I can, they are not allowed to check ID's. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

I get off work at 6:00a.m., the polls in KY open at 6:00a.m.. There was a 20min line already. The last election there were 2 people at the polls. If this is any indication there is going to be a huge turn-out! I got my wife up on her off day so she could beat the lines. Let's see if there is a true "silent majority". I don't think many people are going to be "silent" in this election. ...............this should be interesting........... I've made my views clear on here before, you may know where I stand. God Speed to all, ain't democracy grand, at least until the lawyers get a hold of it!!! Blue Skies! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

I'll take these guys word over just about anyone else. These men are true heros, I've done alot of reading about some of them. Col. Bud Day and Col. Risner especially. These men were brilliant, innovative, and VERY ballsy. They are not political hacks, but TRUE American heros. I had already formed an opinion on Mr. Kerry's war service and post-war antics and grandstanding. This movie just backed up my hunch. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Guess what, this is a first for you. I'll talk bad about any LEO whose screwed up actions make my job harder. Example: The Rodney King incident, absolutely fucked up. Nobody can justify the officers actions to me. I've argued this with many people, including LEO's. That situation made my job much harder to perform in many ways. With that said, this situation has to play out. You weren't there, neither was I. Press accounts of incidents can be very inaccurate. I've read about situations/incidents where I was actually there, and I say to myself "WTF"? The reporter(s) facts are not only inaccurate, but sometimes false. Taken at face value this situation is fucked up. I would frown upon any of my people tazing a 75 year old woman. Especially a 100+ man department where back-up is only mins away. But again there may be other factors not mentioned in the article. Maybe granny was trying to bite the officer, I've been bitten by suspects and it's not fun, human bites are very toxic and often lead to blood poisoning if left untreated. I had to deck a woman (not 75 yoa though)once after she continually tried to bite me, I attempted open handed techniques for several minutes trying NOT to use force. After several attempts to take her to the ground, and her teeth being inches away from my arm I had to act. The time you try to be the nice guy and not use force, is the time you get hurt. It's happened to me personally, and many others. But no matter what I say, I have the feeling it won't change your opinion, for whatever reason. Blue Skies "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Well heck, I'm a nice guy, just ask my mom! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Police Tell Kerry to Stop Saying They Support Him

The FOP, (Fraternal Order of Police) endorsed Bush. The FOP takes endorsing presidential candidates very seriously after screwing up in 1996. They endorsed Bill Clinton and there was almost a revolt among the local and state lodges. I disagree with your statement most individual cops don't support him(Bush). LEO's tend to be generally conservative in their politics. The vast number I know support Bush, however some support Kerry. The firefighters are a completely different matter. Their union is a part of the AFL-CIO. 'Nuff said, they are the ones always standing behind Kerry with their yellow signs. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!" -
Now that is sporty!!! Where can I get one? "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

What's the big deal, no one ever seen sheep before? They put the "live" in livestock baby........... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!" -
Hmmm........ And this is surprising? It's only the beginning..... Taken from the playbook of Michael Moore and the like, when it doubt whine, kick, and scream. Sooner or later someone will listen, (mainly just to get the person(s) to shut up). "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Uhhh......... That might be a LITTLE stale, but valuable! "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Did they hold up the throat and lungs connected? It looks like a turkey............ Sorry, I've been to too many......... "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Dude, The jibjab clips are excellent political satire, a classic American tradition. You can find humor in those clips no matter what side you are on. This clip is nothing but one sided trash, in the new tradition (as fucked up as it may be) of Michael Moore. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

My guess would be some type of body armor. Most under the shirt vests close with velcro on front. The pres. probally has some sort of additional panel(s) or trauma plating in the back also. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Right on Chuck!! I was a REMF, (building USAF bombs though). When my young guys started whining, I just told them to shut the fuck up and think how bad the Army and Marines have it. I also agree with Lou Diamond, GI's bitch, that is what they are good at. That is the beauty of the American military, they CAN bitch. If they are not bitching then there is something REALLY wrong. There is a huge difference between bitching and whining to the point of undermining the mission. This is the challenge of todays Jr/SNCO's, we run the military. Some of these kids did just come in for the bennies, most did'nt. To the ones who did come in for a free ride I say this, SHUT THE FUCK UP, PERFORM YOUR MISSION. That is what you are paid to do, many have done it before you, many will do it after you. IMHO MSgt Skycop "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"
