    Jumper became unconsious in freefall or under canopy. Jumper didn't steer and drifted with wind. Then the jumper impacted with the ground and suffered severe injuries. Jumper died three days later in hospital.

    They can get that by simply registering. You'll never keep reporters out of the forum in this way and that was never the intention either. You can keep search crawlers away from the content and you force people to at least provide some information (an email address, and an IP address) before they can browse that forum. To "keep reporters out" you'll have to do a lot more. It's not like they're stupid you know... Don't make too much of that little barrier to entry. Safe swoops Sangiro

    Skratch, Hmm... that's odd. I didn't change anything on the home page. I'll take a look but the font size on the site is controlled by a style-sheet... and I use the same style-sheet for body text throughout the site so font size on individual pages they should not be able to change independently from each other. Can you check the font size setting on your browser for me please? Also, is it the entire home page or just specific parts of the page? Hope you're doing well!

Like Lisa said, post what you know or at least be honest about your motives. If I ban your IP, nobody at ASC will be able to access Dropzone.com.     Corn, I'm not going to promote a chat room on the DZ.com home-page at this stage. A chat room is not a priority to me on DZ.com (which is why I have not tried to set something up myself). The facility is there for those who wish to chat. There's a long discussion on the other side of this about critical mass, what makes forums and chat rooms succeed and what not, what the character and brand of Dropzone.com is and how I maintain it etc etc. I'd like to keep it as it is and officially only promote a "Happy Hour" on Wednesdays.     Heya all, Just a quick note to let you know we are very aware of the site performance issues over the last few days. When it rains it pours - a bunch of things have gone wrong that has required us to swap over the live disk (due to corruption) with our backup disk. We've got a new backup in place now. We're currently also working on some mod_perl issues. (Basically something that caches the site at server level and helps it respond faster to requests) Mod_perl has been distributing the load incorrectly. We'll keep working on this and hopefully we'll be humming along nicely again soon. Thanks for your patience! Safe swoops Sangiro

    Roddy, Spare me the conspiracy theories. I'm not going to allow the Incidents forum (or this one for that matter) to turn into a fishing spot for journalists and other anonymous types. I can understand why with your background in "video activism" you may be tempted to think that's a good idea, but you're going to be disappointed a few more times.     My sentiments about her having her lawyer send me an email is the same as you guys. I don't always have the luxury of just saying what's on my mind on here though - probably a good thing too! With that being said, if Billy can't substantiate his claims (regardless of our feelings about her getting a lawyer involved) then what he did doesn't win him any brownie-points in my book either. If that's the case I still hold the he owes her an apology, and this thread won't stand for long. To both Billy and Bylinda: Next time you 2 have an itch to scratch, go do it somewhere else.     Billy, I have a big fat nasty-gram from Belynda's lawyer in my inbox. While I'm seldom impressed or intimidated by a lawyer trying to sue my on the other side of the globe, I would like to know: Is her statement true or not? If it is, then you (and everyone who jumped on the bandwagon) owe her a serious apology. If it's not true, then please substantiate your claims.
