Derek, Some DZO's update and change their info almost weekly. Others have probably forgotten they listed their DZ here in the first place. It all depends on the dedication of whomever listed the DZ. I can tell you that there is a lot of activity and updating going on. Safe swoops Sangiro

You nailed it. It's a feature. I know there are a lot of acronyms so I may look into changing this. I'm trying to keep the size of some of the indexes down to speed up the searches. Safe swoops Sangiro

Franck and Robert, I've manually created a profile for each of you. I've also changed your passwords to remove all special characters. This is what caused your profiles not to be created. When you register I ask that you use alphanumeric characters only in your passwords.... So, log in with your old password but omit all special characters that you used to have in there (eg. /-!@#$%.,*& etc) Then go to your profile in input all the information. Some of the fields have been populated with mock data. Let me know if you have problems. Safe swoops Sangiro

Jim, I've had this question before. In the very near future I plan to move the entire log in and profile management system into a new application. we've already started work on this. This option may be available then. This is also the main reason why I'm not making any changes to the current system unless it's really necessary and I'm also hoping that this will resolve most of the current login issues. Keep the faith. I'll get to this. The less time I have to spend policing the forums the more time I have to work on real improvements. lately that has unfortunately not been a lot of time.

Heya all, With everything going on in the world at this time emotions are understandably running high. With that being said I find the number of threads that had to be locked over the past few days unacceptable. I understand that this is where we get together, talk and exchange ideas and view-points. We try to run these forums with the minimum of interference to allow you to do just that, but I'm not going to allow what's happening in the world to turn into spitting matches in my living room. In the weeks ahead you should expect to lose your posting rights to this forum if you break the rules. I don't think it's fair to let a handful of individuals sour the atmosphere in here for the rest of us. So, if you plan to be part of that group, expect to be escorted to the door.
