Just wanted to close the loop on this. Seems like the server upgrade has done a pretty good job of resolving most of the performance issues... no more evil proxy errors! You'll remember the graph attachment on my original post? Attached is the graph from last week after the upgrade. Seems like we're running at an average of 0,53 now... much better than 1,93! Play on. Hey Matt, I don't a damn thing about consumer based wireless but plan to make a little acquisition (maybe even this weekend) to get this going in my apt. What's the difference between a, b an g? Also, I have a few notebooks (no desk top) - should I expect to see 11 mbps only or is there hope for anything faster. Also, I heard a rumor that 2.4 Ghz cordless phones can interfere with these networks? Any truth to that? Safe swoops Sangiro

Kevin Gibson requested that people don't link to the SIM directly from other sites. They are concerned about copyright and version control. I find it pretty astonishing how the USPA still seems to want to protect the distribution of this document. Besides it being almost impossible to police the web for everyone who may be linking to your online doc it just doesn't make sense to me. I trust they want to spread the SIM is widely as possible - it could save lives. As for the latest version, just remove the old one when you post a new one and all the links out there on the internet becomes "dead links". Besides, how do you do version control after the first skydiver download this and send it via email to all his buddies, who in return sends it to everyone at their DZ and so on and so forth... Just my 2c. In the meantime, please link to the USPA manuals page and not to the document directly. -

You're accusing me falsely. I have never sold and will never sell email addresses. You have your Dropzone.com email address listed on your profile. If you did a search in these forums you'll find posts from me warning people that (as is with the rest of the internet) robots crawl this site and collect email addresses. If you publish your email address anywhere on the web, the expect to receive a load of spam to it. Simple as that. Did you read the posts about setting up spam filters on your account? I've got Spam Assassin running and you should be able to filter out 95% of that spam. What research did you do before you assumed I was selling your info? Did you read my privacy policy?
