  1. Excellent! I will also be presenting a seminar on "How to scratch a sleeping lion's balls with a hot fork - for beginners" No one has lasted long enough to hear the advanced course. Safe swoops Sangiro
  2. Bill, If you have some time, drop your review in the gear database as well. I know there are lots of questions about the new canopies and it would be good to start building a bit of a frame of reference. Safe swoops Sangiro
  3. Go to the Stolen Gear section and look in the left margin. There's a field where you can search SNs. If you know a part of the number only, that should work as well. Some people don't know their SNs so you may just want to search for keywords (also in the left margin) as well. Search for "javelin" etc, depending on what you plan to buy and see what it brings up.
  4. I don't see a problem... Safe swoops Sangiro
  5. I don't know if this kind of stuff is appropriate for a public forum... Safe swoops Sangiro
  6. Heya all, To help speed up the response times and enable other people to help me answer some of your questions I've created the Support and Site Questions forum. I'm deliberately trying to separate Support and "how does this work" Site Questions from Feedback and Error and Bug Reports, which have their own forums. If you have a question here's what you should do before you post away in this forum: 1) Search the forums! - With more than 500,000 posts we've answered a lot of questions already. It's good etiquette to do your own homework before you ask. 2) Read the FAQs - There's a set of Forum FAQs. You can find the FAQ link in the top forum navigation bar. The FAQs can be searched. There's also a set of general site FAQs that you can get to by clicking on the Help link in the very top right hand corner of any page on the site. 3) Search again! 4) Post your question - If you can't find it, by all means ask and we'll gladly help where we can. I'm asking those of you who've been here for a while and who feel comfortable to do so, to help me answer the questions that pop up in this forum. The more you manage to put someone on the right track the more we build community and the more time I have to spend on improving Dropzone.com. Just one condition: If you do decide to help you have to be nice!
  7. Hello right back at ya! Safe swoops Sangiro
  8. DJan, I know of this problem. Unfortunately I've slapped a lot of the software on the site together and made it work with each other. I use cookies pretty extensively to try and track whether people are logged in or not. These seem to get out of sync quite often and then all this kind of weird behavior arise. It's a pretty high priority of mine to rebuild the whole log in system on the site. It'll take a bit of time though. In the meantime, try this. 1) Log out op Dropzone.com, close your browser windows, open them again and log back in. I know people don't often actually log out, so when an error occurs they just log in again and this has the potential to mess up the cookies. When you log out your cookies should be destroyed and recreated (hopefully the way they should be) when you log back in. 2) If this doesn't work, log out and try to delete all your cookies manually. You can usually do this through the 'Tools -> Internet options" menu in IE. Then log back in again. Let me know if this helps. Sorry for the drag. I'm cracking away on the new login as time allows! Hope all is well with you. Say hi to Skratch!
  9. This is not accurate. I'm concerned you are creating the impression that if you make a donation it will automatically become a recurring payment. That is simply not the case. The default is not recurring and you have to very deliberately select "YES" to make the payments recurring. Please take the time to actually look at that screen and be careful not to post misinformation here. Safe swoops Sangiro
  10. There is. As you actually have to click on the Buy Now button with the credit cards .... Safe swoops Sangiro
  11. Dave - you've done more than your part dude! Thanks for the support.
  12. Heya all, Some people have been asking whether I accept credit card donations. Good news is I now do! I know not everyone uses or wants to use PayPal. You can now make a donation using any Visa or MasterCard. I've set up a secure form that you can access from the donations page. Simply select the "Buy Now" button under the item of your choice!

  17. Heya all, So, the Dropzone.com long sleeve T's are in the making. The front has already been printed and I have to decide on the artwork for the sleeves. Not that I plan to do "design by committee" but I've received different feedback on this so I thought I'd ask the crowd. Attached is a pic of the full T (as currently suggested) and the artwork for the sleeve. The artwork is rather subtle with some skydiving figures (which can also be confused with s - not per se a bad thing!) and a Dropzone.com logo in the do. Some folks thought I should make the sleeves a bit "louder" and print "dropzone.com" in white up the sides, replacing the artwork. What do you think?
  18. So, the Skydive Arizona Holiday Boogie is now officially being promoted as the Skydive Arizona Dropzone.com 2nd Annual Holiday Boogie. Check it out! Thanks Betsy, you da bomb-diggity! Now, start planning and get ready for some nig-noggery of the highest order.
  19. Uploaded some photos. You can see them here.
  20. Mike, Not yet. She told me she was sending them on. Can't wait to see them!
  21. Keep them under 5 MBs and I'll take a peek at them (I want to see them anyways!). Need to conserve bandwidth so I won't be posting all videos.
  22. Paul - no more than 130 DPI needed (even 75 will do) and I scale them down to 550 pixels on the long end of the photo. JPEG 75% Safe swoops Sangiro
