Thanks for letting us test out the new tube........ I am super impressed with the speed compared to our home tube. The facilities are also impressive, with plenty to do besides fly. If only the beer was a bit stronger..... Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

I've been using the .3 for about 5 years. It is incredible if you are ultra close , or for fixed object jumping. I recently acquired the .55 , and have been very pleased with the results. I think they make the sweetest glass around. I've used the .3 with my HC-7 for the last few months. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Yes .... avoid at all costs. Especially if it is moving or running water.(Like a moving river or creek) Once I landed next to a running river, and had my canopy fall over into the river. It floated for about 5 seconds, until the p.c. filled with water and took the canopy donwn with it. I got dragged in in my WS almost instantly, I fought it or about thirty seconds, until I chopper th main. It was incredible how quickly my suit was full of water and sicking. I would say H20 is a big NO NO. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Your point being what????? That this demo has been done by the same DZ for well over 15 years, and that 4 years ago that the team didn't pull it off. This Demo is one of the hardest/ high profile jumps out there. It's located less than 2 miles from the flatirons that make up the Rocky Mountain Range/Continental divide. If you must rub salt into the Demo teams one bad incident, I will remind you of a few facts. The team was put thru a rigorous FAA investigation, where the jumpers and DZ were absolved of any question of bad decision making. Winds at the stadium were well below limits well before the jump occurred. An FAA official was onsite thru-out the event, and more than vouched for the validity of the jump. I have personally jumped into Folsom field 12 times. Pucker factor=high. Technical proficiency requirement = high. Conditions need to be favorable. I was not part of the Team that particular year, but would stand by decisions made by the team and captain. They are very very current local jumpers who have been jumping high altitude/ rocky mountain conditions for in excess of 25 years. As always, it is quite easy to monday night armchair quarterback any skydiving incident/DEMO gone wrong. All I can answer to you is this..... next year we will be looking for applicants that feel they are qualified to be involved with such a technical demo. If you feel the urge, come to Boulder Colorado, make a test jump or two into the Stadium, assess it for yourself, and come back with an educated assessment. Oh.... and for everyone out there that thinks you could never get caught by the weather......... the winds........ or downright bad luck/circumstances....... Bowling is for you. That part of the equation I got from Apex. A 19 ft H20. At the time I couldn't find any pin containers I liked for a round. I challenged Rob to create a masterpiece..................wah-lah!!! See you next week...... Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

So after valiant and radical surgery, Rob has delivered upon me the first production model of the Morpheus Nano. It is their first H20 rig. I am incredibly impressed with the workmanship and design. It's so freakin small and narrow. I mean the thing is paper-thin. I am psyched to make it to the Potato state very VERY soon . The rig has some pretty cool features......... but I will write a more evaluative review after I get wet.... See you on the boat....... Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Got 100.00 for jumping in to the University of Colorado Folsom Field stadium on Monday. 4 Practice jumps over two weekends + actual Memorial jump carrying military flags(5 jumpers) + Huge American Flag (1 more Jumper). Jumping over Boulder Colorado into one of the nations largest Memorial Day celebrations (2nd largest 10k in the world)(Boulder Bolder) = Priceless !! Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

I replaced all my old BM suits with metal zippers. They are incredibly bore reliable, and feel "easier" and "faster" to unzip in moments of extreme duress. just my .02 cents Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Hundreds of jumps with a Dagger 222 F-11 7 cell.... bit of a brisk opening, but very good for accuracy or Base training. I use the same canopy for super tight arena demos. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Are you WI-Fly in disguise ????? Or just his twin brother from across the pond ...... Oh yeah congrats on doing something that is inherently unsafe in an unsafe manner. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Could you please get a life and quit posting inane shit???? Maybe save up 200 bucks and go make a skydive, or better yet take a trip to Idaho or Utah to actually see the sport for what it is. Your pointless dribble and retarded questions across all forums are enough to make one puke. GET A FUCKIN LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or better yet......... Go back to your bullshit climbing board and stroke ego's over there.. I'm sure you will be much more appreciated there. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

Camera question - jumping with Hard Drive cameras
basehoundsam replied to MartinRosen's topic in Archive
Don't do it..... we took one to Mexico this year just for un, and the HC-7's did such a better job it was amazing!! The HDD cameras wouldn't even take worthy road video.. See you somewhere scary soon i hope...... Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com -
Just wanted to pop on and let everyone know that we had an amazing week of weather and made a total of 62 jumps in 4 days of jumping. This years trip was a complete success with everyone making safe and accurate landings thru-out the trip. 0 injuries . I personally would like to thank everyone who came along this year. Everyone made this years trip a special one for me. As most people who have met me know, my dog Sam has been my constant companion thru-out my BASE life. Sam has been on all of our trips to the Cave, as well as to Copper Canyon. He is at a ripe old age of 17. This will be his last BASE journey. He has helped make our journeys thru Mexico .....complete. As always on our trips, I was able to jump with old friends, as well as make new ones. I thank everyone for coming, as well as my dedicated crew this year. Ben Nieland, Blake Milford, Alex Volk, and Jeff Carmen. Ed Hefright El G #22 Bill Sullivan El G #23 Klaus Renz El G #24 (SantaKlause with a K) Brad Cole El G #25 Mark Allen El G #26 Moe Viletto El G #27 Avery Badenhop El G#12(?) (repeat offender) Thanks to everyone else who helps make this trip possible. Without it I'd probably kill myself from bordome........ Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

I was able to squeeze it into my hc-3 Cookie Box. It's pretty tight, but it fits. Jay Epstein Ramirez www.adrenalineexploits.com

WOW...... I have been playing non stop for the last two days with my new toy. I must say I am incredibly impressed with both the quality of video , as well as the incredible quality of the stills. I am planning on flying it weather permitting this weekend, as well as giving it the old wind test in the tunnel on monday. If ground video is any indication of the quality of this camera...... I am completely blown away!!! p.s. Purchased this camera from Circuit City online with the ultimate bumper to bumper warranty( Including physical damage and water damage) for about 1900.00.
