  1. Got an official response, the FBI has nothing relating to Max Gunther.
  2. Ulis, NickyB, olemisscub and likely others are chasing the sketchy REMCRU lead.. No, those particles are NOT limited to REMCRU. They are tracking associated titanium alloy inventors... maybe the same person or multiple people... I don't do facebook.. One is Milton B Vordahl... This is like finding KFC chicken on a tie and claiming it was worn by Colonel Sanders... possible but extremely unlikely.
  3. Are you suggesting an FBI coverup to hide Cooper's identity?
  4. Jo also claimed Cooper had a scar on his left hand... this has never been sourced. Gunther also said Cooper had a scar on the left hand, maybe Jo got it from that book.. a hall of mirrors.. but, never confirmed..
  5. Chaucer,,, "Attached are images from charts that I requested from the National Archives. They are from the Enroute High Altitude charts dated October 14th, 1971. As Dr. Edwards states in the blog post above, it is now conclusive that when the R2 handed off 305 at 7:59pm, he did so to the wrong radar operator. He handed 305 off to the high altitude R16 sector rather than the R4 sector manned by Cliff Ammerman. Eventually, at 8:13 pm, the crew of Flight 305 began communicating with Ammerman as the R5 operator. As a result, if Bill Rataczak shouted "There he goes! Mark it on your shrimp boats!" between 7:59 and 8:13, he was likely speaking into dead air. " After attacking Rataczak's credibility in a now deleted delusional and unhinged video, Chaucer gets something right.. This is what was assumed.. Rataczak said "mark your shrimp boats" into dead air.. so it wasn't recorded. It supports the 8:11-8:13 jump time recorded by Soderlind listening live. The Columbia River landing is DOA..
  6. yes, a few sources.... and nothing reliable or certain. it was pushed by Jo Weber, she claimed Mitchel told her he saw thick socks or long underwear.. Tosaw's book cites Mitchell saying long underwear or whatever was showing over his socks.. agents believed thermal long underwear.. Coffelt's story includes thermal underwear.. So, there is no confirmation of long underwear... Mitchell said in the WHMS interview that he looked geeky, his shoes and socks didn't match,, but he never mentioned long underwear... There is a conflict,, Cooper had ankle high laceless shoes, how could his socks be seen. Conclusion, long underwear is unsubstantiated..
  7. AND.. another nonsense Cooper film, the gift that keeps giving. If everyone is Cooper then nobody is Cooper...
  8. I gave Ulis credit for moving on from Sheridan and you deserve credit for moving on from Klansnic.. He ticked some boxes but didn't really fit the profile..
  9. In this talk, he sounds like he dropped Klansnic..
  10. The Vortex doesn't need any more fictional books about people who aren't Cooper.. Edward's book was the right direction..
  11. Reca is a joke... a big waste of time. Those reviews look like the Reca shill brigade... including Slim King under different name. Bruce should be able to post his Reca book review now.. I noticed Nicky B has dropped Klansnic as a suspect...
  12. There is a piece on a 727 about 8x40" that sits at the end of the stairwell right above the end of the stairs. Can this fall out, possibly. We can only speculate,, there are reports of airstairs falling open, not locking properly there were Boeing airstair tests in the area the part could have been broken and caught/pinched when airstair was closed and worked its way out or, maybe it was just a hoax by the Boeing employee.. It was not the side panel and NORJAK was not missing any other part, so it was not from NORJAK.
  13. 8 x 40" matches the trim piece above the stair at the end.. that piece was not missing from NORJAK. Either that piece came loose and fell another 727 off or it was a hoax..
  14. It is relevant.. it is the likely source for Himmelsbach's Cooper claim.. either an intentional or unintentional conflation..
  15. Early 727 airstair side skirts were canvas, later they were fibreglass... NORJAK was canvas. Ulis keeps claiming the fibreglass part found was from NORJAK, it wasn't. NORJAKstairskirt.mov
  16. FBI closing, not closing the Cooper case.. If you listen to the words, the case isn't closed.. they have just given up unless something gets presented to them... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56f3ijuanTQ
  17. Himmelsbach... so, where did he get this from? "Himmelsbach thinks other clues to Cooper being an ex-convict were the 'atrocious foul language' he used in talking to a stewardess and the way he smoked his cigarettes. Cooper was a heavy smoker and was indifferent to the fact that the smoke curled through his fingers and left nicotine stains, a trait Himmelsbach said is common among prison inmates." https://www.upi.com/Archives/1986/11/22/Folk-hero-to-some-sleazy-rotten-crook-to-others/7021533019600/
  18. I took KK5-1 and added that square section for the mouth and the hair on top, not the forehead.... and the clothes.. The FBI made more tweaks but you can see how similar it is to the final sketch B. I am working on some alternate versions,, it is amazing how changing one thing slightly changes the overall look.
  19. He hated the idea that Cooper was becoming a folk hero and pushed a counter narrative,, he must have taken the failure to solve case personally. The smoke around the fingers was attributed to Cooper by Himmelsbach elsewhere, probably embellished based on the FBI file about stains on the right hand..
  20. It is odd, I remember an interview where Himmelsbach said smoke curled through his (Cooper's) fingers like an ex-con.. same deal.. was he drawing the comparison or conflating the two..
  21. Himmelsbach.. on the sketches, a compromise. "Page 82 There always had been some problems with the artist’s rendering of Cooper we had released. It was the best that could be produced under the circumstances, but witnesses differed in their views, and at best it was a compromise. I remembered a case where the teller who was the victim of a bank robbery had said with great assurance that the robber was wearing a blue baseball cap. When we looked at the bank’s film, it was a paisley golf hat with a pork-pie brim! And she had been so sure! That was the problem we had with the composite of Cooper. In fact, we had three composites of Cooper, all based on eye-witness reports."
  22. Himmelsbach book... "Page 37 (Overleaf:) The flight of the hijacked jet south from Seattle, as tracked by the FAA, was basically along flight path Victor 23. However, authorities have since come to the conclusion that the airplane was east of this track, a fact confirmed recently by the aircraft's co-pilot. " Suggests Cooper is right handed, held case in left paid with right. "Page 13 Cooper indicated the attache case he held in his left hand, a case similar to that which many businessmen carried aboard aircraft in Portland that Thanksgiving eve. He pushed the $20 bill toward Agent Lysne."
  23. Without glasses, I made this with KK5-1 and hair and mouth changed.. Sketch B is 100% based on KK5-1 as confirmed in the FBI docs. Sketch B based on KK5-1.. (with changes from witnesses)
