Hey bertusgeert.... Springfield- OR or Il.? I have free dove a few times, but I prefer SCUBA. During the summer I freedive some of the more popular swimming spots in the Mckenzie, and various resivors and such when it is too shallow to merit suiting up with SCUBA. If your in Oregon, I'd take you out this summer. By then I will have my Divemaster, right now Rescue diver is my cert. ALSO, for anybody reading this posts Hyperventilating before freediving is what CAN cause you to pass out under water.... This is because hyperventilating puts more o2 in your blood, but when your carbon dioxide levels reach a certain level you'll pass out. By hyperventilating you can actually pass out before you think you need to breath. While freediving hyperventilate no more than 3 breaths. Disclaimer... take this info as any other on the web... most of you don't know my credibility for statements so talk to a professional localy before doing any diving activities... Also being a scuba diver I have my life insurance through DAN (divers alert network) google it, it'll be the first thing up there. I have 100k policy (alot being the only real thing to take care in my demise, is my dog) But it is through a sponsered plan through DAN. It even has a thing where if I am in a diving (SCUBA) accident it will pay a 125%.... this policy has no exclusions and cost 100 bucks every six months.... or maybe a year... I can't remember now, I just send them a check when they send me a bill oh, and for the other conversation.... every jump I have done, I plan to use my reserve (as just that 'a reserve', and am thankful when I don't have to _________________________________________ The Angel of Duh has spoke

Don't know how far you got on it.... I don't think pre-emptive strikes are justified... 9-11 was a pre-emptive strike, so going after al-quida is justified IMHO. Going after the terroists is justified, but going after the countries where the terroists live is wrong, unless they are conspiring with them.
