The people that are responsible for the abuse are cowards. they Put bags over the heads of the victems cause they are too chicken to look them in the eyes. If we want to fight terroism, we need to provide the roll model. Whatever your view on the prisoners, they are still somebodies, child, father, uncle, ect. And if somebody did that to my relative no matter what they had done I would seek vengence. I always keep in mind, that there is no way to understand their culture, or way of life. but many of them were blindly being led by a vicious dictator, they were defending their country. This is what war is: we invade they defend. They are still human.... well most of them.... but no matter our values as americans should hold strong of innocent till proven guilty, and when quilty they are provided a fair judgement... not cruel and unusual punishment. I am pretty out there

I Have the U of O sponsered plan and it covers anything.... partly because they have a skydiving club, they teach scuba diving, and at LCC the community college they have a motorcycle saftey class. so they have and sponcer the activitys there for they cover it with there health insurance. Also for scuba i have DAN insurance for 65$ a year covers any scuba accidents, plus i have the option to buy life insurance that not only covers any death except suicide, they will pay 25% more if it is a recreational dive.... I.e I was not getting paid to dive, and I asked for it in writing, they cover motorcycle and skydiving. probably not much help cause this is university of oregon, and scuba diving stuff, but a FYI for anybody who is taking the time to read this

funny I do my reasearch on everything at dz.com too want a smaller canopy..... dz.com want a new car.... dz.com which gun to buy.... dz.com the hip new religion dz.com with that said.... I bought my first laptop... a dell cheapo model 1100 but it does everything I want it to.... One of the things I have found is that scuba divers in general are more prone to try to blame someone else for their mistakes. I am a Dive master in training, with most of the requirements out of the way, but when I was up in Hoodsport WA this weekend, it was not the students "fault" they were bouncing off the bottom, or were not paying attention to their gauges, so when they did not notice that they gained buyoency from rizing in the water they started to surface. Which is fine there are ways to deal with "egos" so that they are not brused or hurt, yet they learn the skill they need. Skydiving people are looking more to find out what the error was, and when i biff a landing, I am the first to say I flared too high or low. Not to say there is not alot of egos in kydiving too, but in skydiving if a 3 way goes wrong, I want to know where it went wrong even if the weakest link is me it is all a learning experiance. Hope this perspective helps. And for what it is worth I discuss incidents with my mentors, it is a quest for knowlege, not a morbid facination. _________________________________________ The Angel of Duh has spoke

Really??? I have either met people that think I am crazy, or super cool because of it. though I do not Recruit. I do not even bring it up, till "the time is right" Women are like engineers, If you want something done tell them they can't do it and stand the hell out of the way while they do it... lol... that one came from my pop who is an EE (Electrical engineer) I have one very good girl who is friend. She would prefer that I stay grounded, even from scuba, but that is because she is a worry rat.
