The second to last one, the drogue up close, is awesome. Nice shot.

The helmet turned out great Bart. It was cool to see it this weekend. My favorite part is the third object mounted on top. You should post a shot of that.

The no sticker's in planes is company policy. No I'm not trying to start shit. And no I don't have the authority to throw down the gauntlet for Steve. He handles that himself. I was just giving warning to anyone dumb enough to try it. And yes I am not speaking for Steve. I am giving my Opinion and My Opinion only. Anyone who wants to talk to me further can talk to me in the Real world at Nationals. This thread has been taken over by people who have nothing to do with this, or is not effected by it an anyway. Peace haters -

All I'll say is, I would never even think about putting a sticker in one of Steve's planes. -

I did not get off topic. He said it gives competitors a disadvantage to not be able to put up there sponsors tent or wind blade (which is what we have been talking about). My point was that not having your tent or windblades will not effect the competition, which is what Nationals is all about, Competing. See all you haters later. -

How are the competitors at a disadvantage? Do wind blades make them better fliers, does having a custom packing tent compared to a plain colored tent up their averages? I don't think so. Last I heard Nationals was about skydiving not who has the coolest windblades or stickers. -

It was posted before registration opened. It was just posted on dz.com now. People are getting way out of hand and freaking out about something that they will not even be part of. You guys have fun arguing over nothing. Peace and Blue Skies. All my post have been my opinion and not the opinion of the DZ I work at. -

Good question. My Opinion- Not the DZ's If it is just a tent with Golden Knights on the side. Sure I think that would be fine because it is just a team name . But if they are selling tshirts or other product, that goes against the policy. But the knights have government backing as long as we pay our taxes they will be able to have a team. Like I said in my last post I'm going to go enjoy my last day off before nationals. -

Ok I get your point about small teams. But what DZ would let someone put up another DZ's windblade? This is not a Boogie. And yes the new facilities and improvements will still be here when this years nationals is over. And then they will be used for Collegiate's in December, then swoop nationals 2010 and 11, then maybe a TSR or other Big Way Camps and events. I hope you all come to Spaceland this year and years to come and have a wonderful time, whether you like this policy or not. Well I got to go enjoy a beautiful sunny Texas day. It's the last day I have off until Nationals is over. -

Those post were directed at the people who kept saying that Canopies, Jumpsuits, t-shirts, etc. where not allowed. I was just trying to clear things up. Sorry your panties are in a bunch over something so small. -

So what Sponsored Teams are affected by this? Your team? Airspeed?- nope two of their sponsors are sponsors of nationals. Are you even competing? Do you have sponsor obligations? If not, why are you so against this? -

Skydiving Gear is not included in this. Canopies, Jumpsuits, Helmets, are fine. Everyone needs just to chill out. Nationals is about competing not selling product. I'm sure all the companies that will not be at Nationals this year will do just fine in the years to come with selling their product. I hope everyone that comes to Spaceland this year for Nationals, only 12 days away, will have a great time. -
That video is from 2005.

I know of a video guy that was doing crw all day and then had a tandem video at sunset. He pitched about 2 seconds out the door on the tandem video. He said he thought about chopping real quick but he didn't want to lose his main.

Help!! Cant pick a dz for AFF in TEXAS
dqpacker replied to mcrd29's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Check out Skydive Spaceland. We have the A in a week program. We have the safest training in Texas. We also have working aircraft, 5 Otters and 2 caravans. If you want to learn to SKYDIVE come to Skydive Spaceland. If you want to party, I heard the other dz's around do good at that. -

Some pictures from the practice day and some distance jumps. I wish I could have seen Danny R. last speed run. I heard it wasn't as good as his run at waller. Is there any video of that Dave?
