    All rounds are complete! No serious injuries, two hurt knees during sport acc. Banquet has started with some Texas style bbq from the Anvil Bro's. Everyone is planning to party down tonight for New Years. A nice job by the Dzo's and Judges this week. Way to keep things moving.

    A good first day. All four way is done. 2 way rw is done. 2 way vrw is almost done, I think there is a jump off or rejump for one or two teams. 6way got one round down. Round 2 and 3 start at 7am tomorrow. The planes flew all day. 2 otters and 1 caravan, My guess is close to 40+ loads flew today. Hopefully we will finish tomorrow.

    Isn't that illegal? What made him so cool he could do that? What still makes him so cool that he can treat everyone like crap? Sounds like someone needs to bring him down a peg or two. Yes it is ILLEGAL. He is not cool at all, so I don't know why someone would give him a rating. I agree, someone needs to take him down a peg but only death can provide that for him, Hopefully he won't be with a student when that happens.

    I know of a TI that got his rating around 200 jumps at LODI. But he is the worst TI I have ever meet or dealt with. He had a shitty attitude towards students and co-workers.

    Skydive Spaceland. 300 a month with water, sewer, electric, and wifi. Or I think 200 a month for electric and wifi but you have access to the community showers and bathrooms. Call the office for more info.

    It supposed to be a friend of ours from Minnesota coming down to visit. He's pretty good plays a good mix of music. If he's not playing there will be some sort of Music. There is a BIG FIRE built next to the pond for New Years Eve. Thank Ron for building the fire, he got poison ivy in his eye building it. Should be a good time.

    There will also be a DJ spinning, fire spinners and I'm sure some other forms of entertainment New years eve. Oh and the Texas BBQ by the Anvil Bro's is awesome. Maybe the Liquor Luge will be there. Rich, Rich, come on man.

    Also Spaceland has doubled their packing floor and added a fun jumper manifest, on the new packing floor. There will also be another hanger built next to the main hanger. The new full size swoop pond will be built. Also more parking. It's going to be on like donkey kong.

    I would suggest Skydive Spaceland over in Rosharon, Tx. More than one lift and good people. There is a bunch of DZ's around the Houston area. Do a search and find all of them and go see for yourself. Good people all over down there. Have fun!

    Cleaning bathrooms and mowing lawns is an easy job to get at a dz. Or video editing.

    Both are good, Skydive Houston and Skydive Spaceland. Both have good swoop ponds, Spaceland is building a new pond for 09 Nationals that will be like Mile hi's. Both have freefliers, Skydive Houston probly a few more. Spaceland has a good amount and some guys named Anomaly? I think both are open 7 days a week, Spaceland is for sure. Skydive Houston has one otter, Spaceland has 3 and 2 more on the way. Some might call Spaceland a "Tandem Factory" because they do way more tandems, but when fun jumpers have their own plane they are happy. Also Spaceland is doubling the size of their packing floor. Construction has already started. Best thing to do is check out both and then decide. Peace.
