First as for the fit I am 5'9 and 155lbs -- Professor is 5'11 200ish and it fit him quite well. As for the 182 thing I jumped it out of a C206 withthe rear cargo door and just hopped out and popped -- Professor or Flyinbob jumped out of the 182 I think. As for the birdman on the 182 step we normally go 3 on the step and one diver. Professor will actually get on the other side of the strut and launch on his back which would easily give us 4 on the step but why? Morpheous Tech will be receiving a shipment of 5 Vampire V1 wingsuits on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From Florida they will be sent out to the jumpers who ordered them!!!!!!! If you had 'done a search' you would find out that, we who don't spend all of our lives on here like others, don't have a problem answering questions but the ones that live on here constantly, don't have time for you. They were born knowing everything and never had to 'do a search'. I can remember being told the same thing and it was by one of the 35 jump wonders who added his imput on every thread as if he knew what he was talking about. That was 3 years ago I think he now has like 86 jumps but I am sure if you 'did a search' he will still know everything. Take it with a grain of salt - ask the question and if your told to do a search ask that person to post a link if they know everything. Welcome to the skydiving world - beware of the egos they tend to run rampant even mine. Be safe, ask questions, learn from the answers, ask your instructors if the info is correct (when you get that far) and by all means never stop having fun - if its not fun quit!!! Well my 2 weeks for having the suit are up - of the 3 wingsuit flyers at the DZ we each got 1 jump on it due to bad weather or slammed with students. I would say everyone liked to fly it - it was very different from what we normally fly and we would all like to see some small changes with the suit. My overall opinion is the suit is very easy to fly just spread your arms and legs and the suit does the rest - dearch and shoulder cupping don't due much to effect flight (at least it didn't for me but the suit was extremely baggy on me) For me I seemed to fly like intended if I put pressure or pushed down with me feet. The suit didn't turn as crisp as my usual it was kind of washy. Of these reviews remember I was only able to jump the suit 1 time so take them as you will Overall I liked the suit - would like to be able to jump it more but my time is up and I am waiting to find out where to send it next. To those wanting to learn to fly wingsuits or just come out and flock it appears that Scaryperry (Perry Trowbridge) will be attending this event. It is possible that he will be able to bring Phoenix Fly demo suits (this is not confirmed) as he is the PF instructor/examiner for the USA. If the demo suits are not ready by this date we should be able to combine our demo suits to accomodate most sizes of jumpers wanting to try. As plans get confirmed I will try to keep up to date. First flight: Suit is big on me extremely - left the plane popped the wings and stopped!!! Average was 40mph per protrack lows in the 27mph range highest was 64mph Didn't seem to have the drive but it was a cool flight I agree the suit could use some "cleaning up" The reserve handle falling inside the suit is scary. Overall it was cool and I would buy one if some of the safety issues were addressed THANKS PAUL!!!!!!!! let me know where you want me to send it to next - back to you or to the next demo jumper I will try and get some pics over this weekend before I send it off.
