Before you go out and buy a bunch of training aids you might need let me know -- I was loaned a bunch when I attended the course from a DZ.com member who I had never met before - all that was asked was that I return them when done. Since then I have acquired my own training aids and would be willing to do the same --- These would be used during the ground section of the course. The classic 1 suit should not run more than $450US which I would say is high - I have bought a few for $300ish. The classic 1 is made from a thicker type of material and only has 1 zipper which makes it harder to get in and out of. hope this helps -- if the suit is perfect They are a good first suit but once you've used the 2 zipper stuff you will hate the single zipper - they are also harder to sell in the future because of this. Well the US instructor/examiner is Scaryperry and as for first flights there is the prodigy and the intermediate suit is getting closer from what I hear. The V1 is an advanced suit and not designed to be a first jump suit as you know. Prices will be first jump : Suit rental 10 bucks, first flight briefing 20 bucks, if you want video and stills and someone is available, slot plus 25. Pics put on cd, unedited video and short debrief!! Dubbed to a VHS tape if equipment is available. Basically all PF instructors will be instructing to further wingsuit flight only - not to make money off other experienced jumpers who want to join us. Due to the silence - I am guessing that the blade is a no show I have heard thru the grapevine that there will be a PF instructors course held at skyfest and the price is well ......... much less than BM's (price to be quoted at a later date)and PF is coming to Texas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Doug at this point I think you would have much better luck working on Ted as I am a pussy and don't have the sack for BASE - Ted on the other hand isn't very bright and you might be able to talk him into it. Just bring your base rig to skyfest - you can jump it from the powered parachute being its not a tail numbered aircraft right????? I got dibs on the SG for the high attitude load. He should probably send it early so we can make sure it is still airworthy! If we can get a Matter and an Sfly we could pretty much have every manufacture in one flock!! The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

Heli to 4-4.5k Now lets talk about balloon jumps-- Me and professor have just about got the exit perfect here how it works 1st get up early (real f'in early) 2nd ride around in the van 3rd inflate the balloon upwind of the dz 4th - the exit part - carefully open the van door, step out gently as not to sprain an ankle, help roll the balloon back up and put it in the van. Go back to the DZ because the thing is out of propane or the winds are too high Someday we will actually make a balloon jump but for now we must be the most experienced ground crew ever (4 attempts I believe) And I must say it looks like a lot of fun from the GROUND!!! Skydive Temple and Skydive Houston are your wingsuit dropzones. Skydive Houston has cheap jumps, a super otter, good parties and a lot of fun. Skydive Temple will be your cessna DZ, in between Dallas and Austin (much closer to Austin) - good parties 1 super fast 182 and 1 regualr 182 and 1 slow 206 all go to at least 12k the hotrod 182 will go much higher with bribes. I have heard rumors of a tailgate at skydive Houston for the 4th of July and a Casa boogie near Dallas/Fortworth end of June but nothing 100% for sure yet The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid
