It was brought up by PFI Ted that if a red or colored bar tack was stitched on the arm wing 'closing loop' for lack of proper terms then at a glance if you see red which should be behind the cover strap you would know it was misrouted. I don't think misrouting has been the issue as Ted is a very anal dude and what I suspect is that the snaps my not have been totally seated which under the stress of a high speed exit or the way Ted tends to muscle the suit it could very easily come undone and then pull thru the routing strap as if you were undoing them after canopy deployment. I personally never had a problem with the 6 or so jumps i made with the Prodigy even when I did the high speed exit and flew at least 100' above the plane as poor old Ted watched from below It is a very fun suit to fly with its ease of use and being able to fly not so good opening canopies. Yeah well 2 weeks after i got it my Vigil came in and my rigger reinspected everything (I knew that it would be repacked within 3 weeks) and I personally unpacked the main and did line checks and the other checks before jumping it. First off recommended by the USPA is 200 jumps within 18 months before flying a wingsuit with instruction As for the gear question without knowing what it is that is a loaded question -- I would assume that the main is smaller than you should be jumping at this point and time in your skydiving career (wingloading issue) The rig shouldn't be any different than other rigs -- may have cut corners or a longer bridle which makes packing a little harder but operation of the rig will not change The pimp hand is powdered up ... say something stupid

I let Aerodyne assemble and pack my rig --- who would know better how to pack there own container, reserve and main then the ones who make it. Well I wish that we could help you at Skydive Temple which is probably the closest just north of Georgetown in Salado but we are also a weekend DZ --- we do have a full time pilot and might be able to do a jump or 2 after 5:00pm --- Give Rich (DZO) a call 254 947 DIVE As for Skydive Austin or Texas Skydivng (they have a few different names) just ask around and you will find out plenty about the DZO and some of the past events. I am sure she told you about how all the other DZs don't use USPA rated instructors -- well at both SSM and Skydive Temple only use USPA AFFI's and TIs If you would really like the low down PM me Both Skydive Temple and Texas Skydiving Center are small aircraft DZs. Skydive Temple is working on a super fast turbine but nothing confirmed at the moment.
