Dont really know how to comment on this question but at work I see people that have thier lives changed very sudden and unexpected. People driving to work, shopping at Wal-Mart, walking up the stairs, the list is endless. Things happen both medical and traumatic that nobody expects. Im definately a cautious jumper and I dont think too hard on what "might" happen. I do everything I can to avoid injury. I broke my leg in 2 places landing once, and it totaly sucked, but not gonna stop me from jumping. I dont know, I think I just look at it as sure, this sport may cost me my ability to walk, or even breathe, but so might painting my ceiling. Hope I dont sound non-chalante(sp?) about the whole thing, but if I think nothing but fearful thoughts about things I do, there's no pleasure in life. ed ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

Poor dude didnt go to the ER until it was over 20 hours, then we transfered him to a facility over a hiundred miles away. For the most part I can tolerate assholes. Gets downright frickin ridiculous sometimes at work. I mean, I dont jump out of bed at 3 in the fuckin a.m., probably allready exhausted, cant even stop to piss, jump in the truck, and haul ass across town (or 30 friggin miles out in the desert), because someone CALLED 9 fuckin 1-1, then is annoyed because Im standing next to thier bed asking them questions, or God forbid I should have the audacity to put on a C-collar and strap them onto a backboard after you ROLLED YOUR FUCKING CAR 3 TIMES GOING 80 MILES AN HOUR!!! Have you jumped in the desert?? I jump at Cal City, and Taft. I also work in the desert. I think the desert is beautiful. Got a second interview at another small private company thursday. If I get the job, Im putting in a 2 week notice. The place Im at is going through a lot of changes and is presently a pretty negative place to work. Thats part of it, but the 100+ mile commute will be cut in half, and I'll be moving from the desert to a mountain lake area I think I'll make it short and sweet, leave out the negative part, but be honest. The company (Im leaving) has a division here in town where I live and I will most likely pull overtime shifts here doing interfacility transfers (no 911 stuff) if they need me. They have always had trouble staffing crews for this division so I dont see why they wouldnt. dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
