    I work for a small private ambulance company in the High Desert area of So. Cal (Ridgecrest). We'd be no help to you, but I will ask around at work. Some of the guys have been around forever and might have some suggestions. Unfortunately 21 grand sounds about right, ridiculous but true.     My station is a couple miles from China Lake Naval Air Station, constant parade of jets taking off. Fun to watch them play catch up with the previous launch. dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

    A friends daughter is at UCLA, massive chemo, going to have a bone marrow transplant. Im going to a local blood bank in the morning to see about qualifying to be a donor. Anyone know whats involved in donating bone marrow?? What disqualifies a person?     On a different note, I was seriously surprised at how easy ribs break. "POP", broken rib. I on occasion perform CPR at work and had heard "if ya aint breakin ribs, ya aint doin it right". I WILL say that if a firefighter initiates CPR, there aint much left for me to break dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

    I ran with a carnival I run on an ambulance now, hopefully I've redeemed myself eh, I was a kid. We each have shelf space with our names on it here at the station, someone put "Ed Da Carnie" on mine, been there for 8 months dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

    Plus the largest unobstructed landing area I've ever seen with the nicest weather in northern cal and consistently low winds generally from the same direction. ------------------------------------------------------------ Just dont track for the wrong end of that large field, its a LONG walk to the other end dropdeded ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
