Just fishin here... Anyone dealt with someone that suffers from depression?Gettin kinda personal here I know but I just had to check my wife into a hospital for depression.I am doin a lot of footwork to make our lives better,everything is friggin great but she is deeply depressed.She takes meds for it,has for a long time but for the last week life has completely sucked for her.Im getting a new job,I start at a local college next monday but we are in completely different worlds right now. I was just wondering if anyone here has been in a situation like mine and if so,how bout sending some happy ass vibes to Bakersfield,we could both sure use em. Oh yeah,thursday is the day the Dr.says Im physically ready to jump again.(broken leg awhile back,low turn lesson).To be honest,it sure dont feel ready,think I might give it more time. Who is qualified to sign my log book?I usually just ask someone from the same load.I tried a search and couldnt find what Im asking.Is there a rule as to who can sign and who can not sign it ?It seems like its pretty much an honor system thing,I mean if I claim 200 jumps and Im renting a 260 ripcord rig that would raise some eyebrows. dropdeded PCSS#26 ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. - -

I have gotten a bunch of people to do a Tandem.Nobody that I brought out has continued the sport though.Bought my sister a Tandem for her 40th.My niece and nephew have done Tandems,my nephew had a Mal and thought he was gonna die,puked as soon as the resereve did its job.When I can,I will post the pictures of him just after landing,priceless.Had one friend do up to aff 3,never went further though. dropdeded PCSS#26 ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
