The issue? I finished school, and was able to make enough money to travel to all of the cool jumping spots he wants to go to. He's stuck on the DZ, wishing he could scrounge up the cash to go to Switzerland/Norway/Mexico/Malaysia and jump with us. __________________________________________________ I got to agree with you Tom,I just started school(Im almost 39),and there was no way I could ever progress in the sport like I hope to if I stay in the current situation.And to change my current situation,Im goin to school. I found skydiving later in life than most,but not too late. Its all about skydiving,just dont tell my wife dropdeded pcss#26 ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

King Air and C-182 at my DZ,all Ive ever jumped.I may be in the minority here but a ride to 13,500 in a 182 is a kick in the ass. Maybe when I have been around awhile and experienced some other aircraft I might change my opinion but for now,pack me in the empty beer can and gimme a fun ride. Worked a couple miles from the DZ today and stopped in so my partner could buy a couple Tandem gift certificates for christmas presents.Man,I got out of the truck and could hear the King air at altitude,watched the little orange dot,(drogue),saw canopies opening above me,heard all the whoopin and yee hawin,It was tough.I had a hundred dollar bill in my pocket but didnt have the Dr.s release with me .I had no intention of goin there today and in a way I wish I hadnt.Cant get it out of my mind. As far as the leg,Im pretty confident that its back to jumpin shape.I gotta work tommorow(nowhere near the DZ)otherwise..... Was in the parking lot at school and saw my instructor get out of his vehicle.There was a "Blue Sky Adventures" bumper sticker on the back window.This is friggin GREAT.Only had a minute to talk to him ,he said its been about 4 years since he jumped.It was funny cause when I asked if he was a skydiver he had that "uh oh,whuffo question time" look on his face.The look changed when I told him I was persuing the sport myself..It was just a cool experience.Common bond unlike any other with the teach,nice. dropdeded pcss#26 ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
