Burlington, ONT Canada - Trying to figure out something to do
2fat2fly replied to gemini's topic in The Bonfire
I'll be in Mississauga Wed-Friday, is that close (I'm too lazy to go get my map) I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried -
This is the same B-17 that has been in Rantoul adn Quincy but it doesn't do a skydiving tour per se. I'll bet that they'll work with jumpers anywhere they happen to be if time allows. It takes a full load (9) to get the plane off the ground due to the killer operating expenses. www.collingsfoundation.org is where you'll find the schedule. Good luck I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

When I was in high school I backed into a car leaving church-I was going to work and had left early so I was the only one in the parking lot. Just backing up and heard the tiniest bump that you ever heard. I got out and lokked and the whole front quarter panel of this pickup was caved in. I left a note and went to work. I got home and dad was waiting in the livingroom. "Shane, Mr. Blank called for you, wanna tell me about it?" We went to the man's house and he asked me where I hit the truck, I showed him the damage and he just died laughing. It seems that he had hit the side of his garage the week before and that was where the damage came from. This has nothing to do with your situation but my wife's out of town tonight and I've got nothing better to do than post whore

If we had enough people, we might could get a load the next day. This isn't an official tour stop but my company sponsors the aircraft so they're visiting in between shows. The cost is $400 with the same tax-deductable status as a regular donation and exit altitude will probably be 5 or 6 K. I know that these are pretty limiting factors, but this isn't a skydiving event. We're just trying to take advantage of a rare opportunity.

The Collings Foundation B-17 will be in Liberty, South Carolina on November 3 if anyone is interested in jumping it. We'll be meeting there at 3:00 pm. I think that we're going to have the manifest list done before that day in order to expedite things. PM me for the appropriate contact info.

Sunshine is an adorable bundle of positive energy and she always stops to let the drunks get back on the golfcart. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

I was impressed with the area around Indianapolis when I was there. Other than the working part of my day, I had a great time. I hope that I get to get back to Jerry's for a jump sometime in the future. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Neat, the word for 1966, when I was born, is Acid...that explains a lot. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Looks like we're going to have the 909 (Collings foundation) B-17 here in Upstate SC the first week of November-now we just have to line up enough people to make a load or two. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

I had an office and got promoted to a cubicle (WTF) I guess that it make sense, I'm not in the office very much anyway. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

My only bungy jump was scary only in the sense of "Can I trust this gear" though I admit that I don't like seeing the ground that close up. But, step off, one, two......What, it's over all ready?? I'm used to hearing that, not saying it. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
-
Note to self....next time in Columbus, let Eric cook I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Why should gals have all the "shower" fun-We threw a bash for a pal and loaded him down with tools and Home Depot cards....and it goes over a lot better with the bride-to-be than a stag party. Still didn't answer you registration question, but I'm consistantly an idiot like that OK, Aggie guys, set Dave up right I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Now I know what to do when I'm obligated to buy gifts for people that I don't like...I'l get them something that I know they'll hate from Target and burn the receipt. [insert evil laugh] By the way, Dixieskydiver, when is your birthday???? I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

He's going to love it! An RV-6 was the first plane that I ever got any stick time on. Of course the pilot put me well in the middle of the sky before he let me have it

I list my home DZ as Flying Tigers, that's where I go most of the times and where most of my skydiving friends are. Skydive Monroe is where I trained and I try to get there when I can because it is special to me-hell, it's special to anyone that's been lucky enough to spend time there. maybe I should have a tier one and tier two choice I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Do you have FD patches from Liberty or Pickens SC? Even though I had to give up the service, I can probably score you some-on the DZ stuff, I've started picking up shirts even if i don't jump there-I've gotten a couple of stickers adn I'll keep you in mind as I travel around I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

On the positive, making it to class frees up one more cut day that you may really need. I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Bad and tacky-public place, we both were drunk. I had just given her the money to go pick up a boxer puppy so she threw the money back at me "I'll by my own damn dog"-I peeled $50 off the roll, handed it to her "This is what I gave the last whore, I'm done with you" Not one of my bright and shining moments and one of the biggest reasons I don't drink very much now-I don't like my lack of class when I'm drunk I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Cool--You wanna know where I live? My wife does great on her car, but I can't talk her into washing my truck
-
That just means that I'll be waiting when you land
-
Remember, I know where you live, and as soon as I find my walker-I'm comin' after you I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried

Who holds the record for DOA threads-threads that didn't garner even a single response? I tried to count up and I think that I'm at 11 or twelve. Can anyone beat that? Will this make #13? I am not the man. But the man knows my name...and he's worried
