Went to HD and ordered a new mower, a 10X16 building and a washer and dryer to be delivered today (that was the only day that they could commit to. Drove 17 hours last night to get home for the delivery. The building chick called today and said that they couldn't start until June 6th. I've already destroyed my old buildning to make room. The guy that I gave our old washer and dryer to came by to pick up at 5:30. I called HD to confirm that my new stuff was on the way. She said yes, no problem. Good because I have to do laundry before I leave in the morning, As of 7pm, no deliveries-called HD and they said that the guys came by at 3 and I wasn't here. My phone log says that I was in the front yard at 3:02 telling Liz what came in the mail. I had been home for over an hour and I never left after that. 8 pm the manager (after several calls from me and the wife) said that he's bring a washer/dryer set and the delivery guys could swap out for my stuff tomorrow and I could do my clothes. 9:15 the manager and sales guy show up with some appliances. 10 pm, they figure out that they forgot to bring a pigtail and mgr, goes home, sales guy goes back to the store to get the plug 11:25, after installing the pigtail, sales guy figures out that he has the wrong style plug and here at 12 am, he's gone to get the right one, I still don't have clean clothes and I need to leave by 5 am to get back to Sun-N-Fun. Did I mentioned that they called me last night to tell me that they didn't have the washer that I ordered and confirmed stock on last week and I needed to but the next step up for an additional $200-I didn't pay the extra but just more aggrevation. Liz is under strict orders to sue the crap out of them if I fall asleep at the wheel tomorrow. I am Pissed And I still don't have a freakin mower Update 12:34 am and I'm washing clothes now-I should be done in time to take a 1 1/2 hour nap before I leave I am not the man. Trying to fix one of my most recent screw-ups, I left yesterday afternoon on a 600 plus mile drive, delivered some stuff and drove back.
