Were we at the same sock washing? Maybe there weren't as many washers as in the past but where do you get off calling them unsafe. There was always plenty of separation between the burgers and socks on every load that I was on. If you were having problems maybe you should pay attention to where you put your basket. Of course you have to pay closer attention than you do at your small, local laundry but it's ultimately your responsibility to keep the bleach out of your own colors and not expect the laundry organizers to babysit several hundred washers and grillers for you.
