I've held more credibility with currency - how many jumps of THIS TYPE have you made in the last year, rather than your career. Also, I find quite a few of the huge jump number types not accepting new stuff readily - but maybe there is just a percentage like that at any experience level...... Nice observation. Before I had my pro-track I got behind on adding up the math. So I took my log books (only about 900 jumps at the time) and loaded jump numbers and time into a spreadsheet (NERD). On the review I shorted myself about 16 jumps and nearly that many freefall minutes. Biggest mistake is writing the jump number and then on the next page writing the same number instead of the next number. For time, adding the seconds, but not the minutes (e.g. 8:43:52 plus 45 seconds would be incorrectly 8:43:37 instead of 8:44:37). Both are pretty well the same mistake. I like my pro-track a lot for this reason - and the third alarm makes a cool noise most jumps . ... Don't worry, our AA and AAA teams are pretty much jack of all trades. Most feel like I do - We've signed up but will drop it like a dead skunk if it gets too hairy. 1 - for government funded 'media' I'm thinking the BBC has NPR beat out for fairness. 2 - Fox is about as fair and balanced as any other news source I've seen. jv... has it right. Presentation on the hill and missed timing will affect that initial rotation over the top, but not for the entire dive. If it's drastic, you're out of control. Drop grips, settle down and rebuild. If it's slow but won't stop, same thing. Likely someone's leg were goofy or there was a subtle fall rate issue driving the turn. Great weekend. 14 jumps from Frid - windy and bumpy all weekend. got to coach Mantis with 2 new jumpers. One was absolutely fantastics. Some freeflying. The wife did her first headdown. Rough note, that one. If you can get jump credit, go for it. It might not be fair to not get a refund, but some DZs have rough policies. The phys therapy is the huge thing here, once you're healed, there is a ton of stretching and weight exercises for the whole shoulder joint (good bood - The Seven Minute Rotator Cuff Solution). I know you have the pinched nerve and this is a R.C. book, but keeping that joint strong and tight will help in skydiving and all aspects.
