for that matter, these two canopies have very different design and performance goals, narrowing it down to those two seems to mean he doesn't yet know what type of flight and landings he's really looking for yet A lot more thought is needed on his selection still actually,,,,,it sounds like he likes his current wing just fine nothing's wrong with a 1.5-1.6 loading. nothing at all. ... Groovy. I guess we can ban your handguns now. I guess we can also ban a person from carrying more than 24 rounds at a time. that's just poor reading comprehension, Quade. Clearly, it's illegal to carry less than 24. We need BIGGER clips and mags, not smaller. ... certainly that makes better sense in terms of equal treatment I could just imagine if some of our own posters had the arbitrary authority to pick and choose just who gets to exercise certain rights. simply enough, if you aren't a criminal or a loonie (demonstrated by convicted actions, not just some random number generator /future time machine concept) then everyone should have the same right in this regard ... I think the PC snatch is pretty much good to go for +14 (but hopefully an rigger pipes in on that to be sure) However, if you have more free time, you might take a large sample of bands configured to that 14 pound assumption and then see how many really are at that load. (i.e., what's the distribution if you check, say, 100, instead of just a couple, what's the max, what's the min) then, if you have more time, you might try seeing how many openings it takes for that 14 pound number to decrease to that 8-12 level...... ... however moving it is or well executed, or even meaningful to those in the theater, it's rude to block the view (stand), talk, etc during a movie. I don't care how well intentioned one thinks he is afterwards, stand and clap all you want during the credits - perhaps I find it extremely moving and well played and it reminds me of friends and family lost in service or during my own service - perhaps my way to honor that is to sit quietly and try to experience it personally and make sure that my experience doesn't keep others from a chance to understand why it's important - my way doesn't interfere with the other moviegoers - the standers are being intrusive to the rest of the crowd, I consider it self indulgent. Question - other than being respectful and having a better rationale, or at least one I understand. How is this, in application, any different that someone standing in the front row of any show and just standing up to get a better view and blocking it for all the rest? In practice, I can't really say this is any better than loud movie talkers In today's self indulgent society, I guess people will do what they want, and there isn't a rule either way, I just find it rude regardless of the best of intentions I can't wait to see the movie. (Yes, I do stand up for the national anthem, always. Yes, I do think that's entirely different) ... Heard that story on the radio this morning. I was amazed that the restriction was EVER part of the law. Glad a judge saw that and ruled for the favor of our rights to own property. I don't get it, personally. however I suspect that if you ask 10 couples that do it just why they do it, you will likely get 10 reasons for it. and most likely will understand all 10, and actually not have any issue with over half of them (if you were to apply to yourself) Just assuming they all 10 are insecure freaks isn't reasonable. Not everybody is your sister and her boyfriend. And don't forget, even if he insisted on it, she also let him. Edit: they only reason that I can come up with is that it's nice to only have to post one set of pictures if you want to share them with both sets of friends. My wife and I have posted duplicates (we have individual accounts) just for this reason. ... Buying a helmet: with or without chincup?

Again - Dave brings out the real and medical reason for this. Not just the crappy strawmen and political scripting.... regulating periods, various other health reasons for the pill are out there other than just to enable risk-free (~) sex. this would be a MUCH more honest and reasonable debate if those were the topic of debate - then it's a no brainer seems that if gov was out of it, the market would drive this anyway - any company that doesn't offer this on their health plan would draw substandard workers - or at least like minded workers. They then have to change or survive, or deal with it. ... Wow, I can't wait to see all these mysterious people disagree with you. I bet "a lot of people" have a little picture in their minds of these "many" - visualizing them insisting on taking loaded guns, cocked and ready to fire and them just insisting on laying them randomly around a kindgarten classroom. In between all the booby trapped grenades You have some seriously messed up notions about anybody with even slight disagreements with you - or even if they just live in a huge country. Demonizing others and classes of people like that is just plain unhealthy. ... what a divisive way to phrase that....men like to have sex without worrying about pregnancy too. Paying or not having to pay for it, is not equivalent to making it legal or illegal. Planning for parenthood is not a female-only issue. Most insurance plans cover vasectomies, but do they pay for condoms either? It just seems like an odd place for government to be butting into for either a pro or a con position. The entire health care thing has escalated government into an entirely new level of control over people's lives and incomes. I can only assume that people are excited about it or not depending on the extent of freebies they can now envision themselves getting vs giving. ... What are your thoughts on political parties? this IS Speaker's Corner - so i'll answer for 90% of the crowd 1 - if a party agrees with me on any topic, it exemplifies goodness and light and can do no wrong and needs to upheld and given all the money everyone else holds 2 - if a party disagrees with me on any topic, then they are evil and have always been and always will be evil and not only should they be illegal, but mocked and destroyed and their followers should be made to lie naked on gravel roads for the goodness and light people to trod upon ... Heard it on the radio this morning, local groups in Minnesota are noting the IRS is asking for: lists of all the members, all donors, every speaker they've ever had since the inception of the groups, etc , etc, etc, Don't know if it's true, only see a couple items in a web search. here's one: (I can't speak for others, but this is pretty much right up Franken's alley) of course, I assume this is even handed and they aren't just focusing only on organizations on one side of the aisle.... ... Look, if the bodies are stacked up neatly in a nice little rack so the team can just grab them with hooks and throw them on the fire as needed, then that's fine (I'm sure some wacko has the picture in his head). I'm sure they wouldn't need to harvest supplemental bodies terribly often, if they cover the pools at night. And, I'm sure there's plenty of fuel available just in the alleys and bars to keep the fire going all the time. And the smell would be wonderful. I mean, really, how can they NOT do this? (seriously, those kilns have to be super hot to get the burn needed for a proper cremation - letting the excess heat just escape after each operation is idiotic. Finding a use for that heat is a great idea. However, announcing that they are using this heat is, again, idiotic. It's not really the business of the customers to know about that heat, any more than they deserved to know what brand of brushes are used to sweep the floor in the office.) ... the show is right now, sure. but the main people in the news are the US republican candidates I'm sure once it's down to Obama vs (whoever) he'll move back to his 60/40 split and I'm ok with that, it's much improved over a lot of the others - and it's just an entertainment show, and the mockery is pretty much dead on. The split is just what material they highlight, hard to select over all the idiocy out there - it's target rich. I like best the skits where he takes an accusation by one guy against the other in politics, and then shows where the first guy did the exact same thing, and THEN goes to show where people from both parties have done the exact same thing going back a couple decades. ...
