Sash, I ordered some freefly pants from Firefly about a year and a half ago and it only took 4 weeks to get them. I currently have another order I'm waiting for and was quoted 10 to 12 weeks as well. They've just moved and are backed up which is why the long wait. I imagine that once they're caught up, the wait time will go back to normal. Just be patient for now.... they're worth it . Feel free to take corrections/go-arounds... even with 30 something jumps. You know where you want to exit... if you don't... get with a more senior jumper (not the pilot) and determine where the correct exit point is... I was told when I was at CSS not to even think about trying to make a correction or ask for a go-around. They said it would really piss off either the pilot or the owner.. i can't remember which. So basically everyone just went out the door like lemmings and hoped they could make it to the airport. Pink Mafia Sis #26

Just another side note... All because someone advocates the humane treatment of animals does not mean that they are a vegetarian. (In PETA's case they are but PETA is the extreme.) I'm a *rabid* supporter of the humane treatment of animals... and I also think cheeseburgers are tastey. OK, sorry, that's my last post about it.... back to BASE jumping dogs & cats. By-the-way, that is so impressive! Just thought I'd mention that... My next door neighbor (where I grew up in Atlanta) did twelve marathons last year. That's right... one every month!! I would think that would actually be bad for your body but hey.. she did it. Pink Mafia Sis #26

Interesting tips! I wouldn't have even thought of those. The race is March 13th so I still have a some good training time left. All I know is I can run 4 miles fairly easily with a few hills here and there but nothing major. I have yet to see how I'm going to do when the runs get longer... and more hilly

Unfortunately, punkass says it whenever it comes to him. I think he's actually said it after lunch a few times too. He's not actually employed with our company... he's a sub (CADD guy) that gets the majority of his work from us so he rents an office here. The guy across the hall from me has a habit of trying to be cute in the mornings by saying "Wake up Sam!" whenever he walks past my door..... regardless of what I'm doing. No one else can see me because we all have offices but he yells it loud enough that the entire floor can hear. For all they know, I'm napping with my head on my desk or something. Yea, but some manufacturers have a "promise date", not "estimated delivery date". edit: I understand why delivery times can sometimes be longer than expected. Unfortunately, calling something a 'promise date' may be a little misleading to the customer. Pink Mafia Sis #26

Actually, my G3 is articulated. And coincidentally, my very first container's chest strap was perfect. It was a dolphin.. and the harness was too big. Pink Mafia Sis #26

I told Mirage I was female and specifically requested that they make it low... along with giving measurements. The chest strap is still too high. I think it might have something to do with the smallness of the harness though.
