    I have a friend that cocks his pilot chute after his canopy is in the bag & lines are stowed. It seems like this is a bad idea because I can picture some of the canopy becoming pinched (and possibly tearing when the bag is stripped off on opening). Is this correct reasoning? Are there any other reasons why this would be a bad idea? Please explain why or why not. Pink Mafia Sis #26

    I used one when I lived in Birmingham and *loved* her. She loved my dog so much that she offered to take her home with her to play with her dog (of the same breed) while I was away. I agreed... and for about 2 years, my dog (Mollie ) would stay at her house and sleep in her bed while I was out of town.... I just got some info from a new girl since I've moved to Nashville and will be using her while I'm in Rantoul. Just make sure they're bonded & insured.. and of course ask for referrences. Most of the time they will tell you all this info upfront. Also, ask if your name/address will be attached to your key (my pet sitter uses a numbering system so no one can just pick up my key & get in my place). Mine costs $15 per visit.. unless she has to make more than 1 visit per day. In that case it's $12 per visit. Good luck

    We are living in a new apartment and have recently discovered that we have a spider problem. Most of the ones I have found are Wolf Spiders (I think... brown, kinda big, really fast little bastards). However, I found one the other day that was black with an orange/red stipe on it's back (not underside but actually on it's back). Does anyone know what the hell this was? I tried looking it up online but all I could come up with was a Red Backed Spider that's native to Austrailia (I'm in Tennessee ). Pink Mafia Sis #26

    Well, I can suggest the not-so-fun method we are currently using to house-train a stray we took in. She was nursing a litter of puppies and couldn't hold it for more than 4 hours at the most. So, we took her out before bed (usually 10:00 PM).... set the alarm for 2:00 AM and took her out again... and then at 6:00 AM when we got up. We gradually set the 'middle-of-the-night' alarm later & later until it disappeared. It sucked but it worked. -OR- You could get a wire crate for her to sleep in at night.... Pink Mafia Sis #26

    She might have some sort of a bug that affects her bladder control (but if she's doing more than just peeing than maybe not). Can you close a door or put up a babygate to keep her from getting to that spot at night. That may break the habit... Pink Mafia Sis #26

    Eh, I could be wrong. I don't live in Birmingham anymore so I haven't kept up with the happenings as much. Montgomery is, however, a short 3-hour drive to Gold Coast Skydivers. If I lived in Fungomery I would definitely plan at least 1 trip a month to Gold Coast. Pink Mafia Sis #26
