Does anyone use klitetk.com? Is it actually legal or is that a bunch of crap? I'm kinda confused about what is legal and what isn't. I thought you had to pay per song on the legal sites. This one just has a one time fee. Thanks! Pink Mafia Sis #26

My old boss (amongst others) thought I was stupid for even wanting to attempt such a thing... much less do it every weekend. They would just make jokes about it all the time at my expense. It got annoying. What's funny is there was a co-worker of mine that raced mountain bikes and would come to work visibly injured at least once or twice a month. I only had one minor injury out of the 2 years I worked there... yet I was the crazy one. Pink Mafia Sis #26

OK, I recently started a new job (about a month ago) and have been very hesitant to tell everyone I skydive because I got a lot of hassle about it at my previous job. I still have my USPA sticker on my truck though... So today, my boss/owner of the company just came into my office and casually mentioned that he noticed my USPA sticker. He said that he has about 30 jumps and thought it was really great that I skydive. I guess I don't have to worry about being hassled here!!! This is soooooooooooo cool! Pink Mafia Sis #26

I don't know if you're going to be able to visualize this but this is what I do: Once I've made my folds and am ready to role, I lay on the canopy & squish all the air out. Then I start to roll it as far as I can under my chest while still laying on it. Then while holding that role I jump up and put knee/shin on the length of the unrolled portion of the canopy. At this point no air can get in & I can continue rolling while moving my leg down when needed. If you do this right, the slider and everything else should stay in place and you should have a nice roll to put in the bag. I hope that helped. Pink Mafia Sis #26

Yes! It's my home dz. I lived in B'ham and moved to Nashville recently but still make the drive because I love it there... I'm actually not sure about when the king air is going to fly that week. It's always up on the weekends of course, but usually the cessna is flown on the weekdays. Keep checking the SA Forum and it will keep you posted on that kind of stuff. See ya soon!!!!! You cannot get the flu from the flu shot. The shot is not a live virus... it is synthetic. Getting sick after a flu shot is a coincidence... don't let that be a reason not to get it. I think some people use that as an excuse because they're sceeeeeered Pink Mafia Sis #26

They don't start protecting you for around 2 weeks or so after you get the shot. They also don't protect you from every strain of flu out there... just the most common ones going around that particular year. Pink Mafia Sis #26

That must be a coincidence... flew shots don't contain live virus'. I say get one! I get one every year. What do you have to lose? They don't hurt... they're cheap (sometimes free)... and they could keep you from feeling like death later on in the year. I'm a big fan of flew shots Pink Mafia Sis #26

I had a friend come to visit while I lived there that was shocked to see downtown Birmingham. I think he was expecting Birmingham to be a bunch of cow pastures and some houses... LOL. Birmingham does have about 1,100,000 people living there. It is an actual city. I'm originally from Atlanta and I have to say... Birmingham was definitely good to me. I had A LOT of kick ass times there! (Although it's no Atlanta ) Pink Mafia Sis #26

Since I lived in B'ham I can tell you the skinny on distances. Skydive Alabama in Cullman and Pell City are the 2 closest dz's that you could easily make your home dz. ASC in cedartown is a bit of a drive (~2.5 hours) but still in the vicinity. Tullahoma is also a bit of a drive (~3 hours). Emerald Coast, Gold Coast, and Thomaston are good road trip dzs but are definitely not convinient to B'ham. I would say it's about 4 hours to any one of these. Just check mapquest and make a judgement call. Pink Mafia Sis #26
