  1. I guess that gives new meaning to a "Head on collision" *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  2. Yeah I prefer the big one. For a hop and pop the little one wasn't too bad. Yours was better then mine. I didn't get to see much of it, by the time I climbed to the door and jumped. I was glad we got up, and at least got one. It was a good weekend I got three altogether. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  3. We paid Cedras to leave, thanks to Jimmy Carter. I would of told him to leave or stay here and die. Thats the deal and the only deal that you get. 82d and the Rangers were in the air. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  4. Hacking up a neighbor, we had a guy that was hacked up by his brother while his adult sons watched. When we asked them why they didn't try to stop him. They answered with "We had no problem with are uncle, it was between him and my dad". They trusted no one, and I mean no one. A rumor that was made up could get someone killed. Only those that were down there could understand what a mess that country is. I was in there on two trips, one out of the town of Limbe and the second time Belladere. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  5. You can't miss the dropzone here, the whole country, Kuwait,is a dropzone. Only major obstacles are camels. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****

  7. Hey if you win let me know. I think I have the same symptons as you. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  8. No. Landing off the dropzone does not necessarily mean it was a bad spot. I have seen it where everyone landed on the DZ but one. Does that make it a bad spot. As far as saying you are responsible for your own spot, as a student that is just an excuse. Reality is even the best sometimes make a bad spot, wind change for example. You are given training on a PLF and a good PLF will help prevent injuries. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  9. Welcome to the forum and to skydiving. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****

  14. That's all right. I want to know where that DZ is, because I want to jump it. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  15. What a great day to be jumping! Unfortunately since it is a week day there isn't a dropzone open. So, plan B, got the motorcycle out and still got the wind in my face. I hope the weather last through out the weekend! *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  16. It must of been a long year for you. Once you've enjoyed the feeling of skydiving you can't wait to go back. Good luck on your next jump and welcome to sport. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****

  18. Sorry on the weather. I tried last weekend myself, but unfortunately the plane is getting repaired. So I will try this weekend. There are two dropzones within 1 hour and 15 minutes from my house. I'll call this time before heading to the DZ. I'm sure one of them will be up and running. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****

  20. Tried digging through some old photo of military jumps. Was hoping to find some with full gear and cramped in the aircraft. I couldn't find any but thought I'd post a couple with just the rigs on, a.k.a. as fun jumps or hollywood jumps. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? 21. If your photos are too big try saving them as a jpeg/jpg. If they are saved as a bmp the files are usually pretty big. Also if you have a photo program you can also down size the photos. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  22. Glad to hear you had a good jump. I would like to a jump sometime near the beach. All the videos and pictures I've seen by the coast are awesome. I will have to take a trip near the coast. I know the feeling of the C-182, most of my sport jumps are out of one, I like the bigger birds. Congratulation on the part time job, anything to help get another jump and learn more about the sport. I'm looking at getting rig in the next few weeks. I considering on getting the one I learned on, Sabre 230. I have enjoyed jumping it so far. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  23. So when does your DZ open back up? The weather here hasn't been too bad, but haven't got up yet this year. I was hoping to last weekend but the plane was down. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
  24. It seems my daughter is more excited about jumping then my son. Although my son has spent more time on the DZ with me, mostly to do video work from the ground. He hurt his legs in basic training, won't be healed up till around mid summer. Hopefully he'll jump then, he wants to jump with a friend, but most of his friends don't have the money for the jump. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? 25. Good luck. Relax and most important Have Fun *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
