I think there are two questions. First, would you even TRY to give up skydiving if someone special asked you to? If so, do you really think you could stay away? Close enough to go see PST? I'm guessing 3 hours-ish to Wildwood but with holiday weekend traffic? People start heading to the beach on Thursday and go non-stop through Saturday (move in/out day) which makes travel a nightmare. The real website for the dropzone in Clewiston, Florida is www.skydivefl.com. It's called Air Adventures of Clewiston. The dropzone has a huge landing area and is surrounded by sugar cane fields. It's southwest of Lake Okeechobee, which can usually be seen from the air. I think they're jumping a Caravan these days. The DZO and staff are safety oriented. The professional staff includes videographers, AFF and tandem instructors, a rigger (2?) and two pilots. I wouldnt consider that playing hard. I would say that staying in a hostel and spending that "five star money" on skydiving or other fun activities would be playing hard. I was thinking along the lines of "I work my ass off and give my best effort e.g. 110%; so, in the very, very limited time that I have to enjoy myself, I do the same -- I want the best. I think it depends on the job and the image you are looking for and also why as much as where. Not that your interviewing to be a CEO, but do you really want somebody that stays in a hostel running your company? Maybe (I have and would again). Or do you work hard and play hard e.g 5 star? Or did you just get out of school and wanted to see the world without much cash. Are you thrifty?
