Heh...I thought I was the only geek that knew that. Ya' have to give it up to LBJ. I learned that at an early age, from my father, who briefed the pilots of those birds at Spangdalhm *sp?) AFB, Germany, right after loading 'em with film, in the early 60's. I just get tired of correcting people who correct my saying "RS". I ended up giving up and just saying "SR" off the bat. Slider rebound. Kris, you may have de-arched and caught air before you dumped but remember, your not a small guy and you weren't wearing your jumpsuit. I think you said 131 average at the bottom end, but when you get a chance, check your exact deployment speed. I'm not saying the speed was a direct cause. I am sayng that the increased speed will amplify the effects of even a minor packing change. If the slider was so much as a half an inch off the stops and you were even 10 mph faster than normal.....well, you get the idea. Get better bro, and put that jumpsuit on next time. Mike, I'm a cheesehead. I live way too close to the Mecca of cheap, crappy beer, Milwaukee, WI, home of Miller (and all its variants) and the classic Meister Brau. I know what a good beer is. I know what a great beer is. I also (sadly) know what a truely shit beer is. Everything I have tasted from Milwaukee lands in that last category. Shiner Bock though, that's a great beer.
