#1, formal, written complaint. #2. db (decible) readings, with witensses, preferably cops. Call to complain about the noise, show them a db meter, then make a comment about what the "normal" sound level is. Be sure and give them a number at least 25 db lower than the noise. Call the freaking landlord. All the time, literally. All you need is ONE documented case of loudness. The rest are assumed. In other words, get one instance recorded. Call the cops, whatever. After that, at random times, call the cops AND the landlord to complain about the noise, even if there isn't any. Works wonders. Cops show up, all is quiet. They blame it on a scanner, eavesdrop, whatever. too bad, so sad, they are "known" violators. One couple that had 2 really nasty kids made it 3 weeks next to us. I probably would have let them slide, but 2 days after they moved in, an 11 year old boy of theirs told my wife "Fuck you bitch, i'll walk on your lawn if I feel like it." ....with the speed here lately? I've been having net performance issues, but only with 2 domains. yahoo and dropzone Everything else screams! Downloads rock! Webpage clicks transition super fast! Then there is Yahoo and Dropzone. Downloads are slow, but my biggest issue is click transitions. For example, I clicked "post new", and it took over 40 seconds for the page to change. It was over a minute before the page said "done". It's like this on every click. How am I supposed to post whore like that? Quite a few times it said page unavailable, and I click back. Damn, everything I just typed is gone, and I have to retype it. Yes, I'm now in the habit of highlighting all the text I write and copying, just in case. Anyway, I was just wondering, am I alone?
