  1. We are all human, and of the flesh, Wally. Well, that, and I'm NOT Catholic (anymore). Altar boys off limits. Their mothers.... Seriously, I talk a big game as most here know, but in the end, I love my wife, period.
  2. Thanks everybody! I got to jump it today. Just a 4500 exit, 2400 pull to get my knees in the breeze, but DAMN! this rig is sweet! I just love that feeling after deployment of, well, nothing. Really. I used to always loosen the leg straps on my Javelin, otherwise sitting in the harness would literally be painfull. I wouldn't do X-country jumps for that reason. That's not needed in this rig, so I see a bunch of them on this rig! I am so impressed, that over the next week I'll work up a review for the gear section. Oh, I got it hooked up to the Bird-Man suit too, but ran out of time (I just now finished setting up 2 Christmas trees). Hopefully I'll soar like the buzzard I am next weekend!
  3. Actually, the current wave of mp3 players is due to convenience and pricing/availability. An album on a disk vs. 10 or more on a disk is the deciding factor. Many people understand that there is a trade off of quality for volume, but to label them as stupid for it is just plain moronic. Edit by Remster: Play nice Jim! It's your life, live it! 4. Hey, is it transferable? If it is, sell it, and buy more local jump tix! Just a thought....
  5. Thanks all! Leroy, I'm about 5 hours north of the Chicago DZ's. I'm used to snow. It must be an omen. The skies have opened, so far, this morning. Looks like a nice, bright blue, with a light breeze. Looks like I'll be doing something today other than hunting... Oh, yea, a few days ago my new Altimaster Neptune arrived. Lara at Alti-2 calls it my unstealable Neptune. I was pretty upset when mine was ripped off at Rantoul, and I finally decided to have a custom one made. Check out the attached pic. I'd like to see someone try and jump this after ripping it off without being noticed! The pic quality isn't perfect, buy fyi, the bottom is hot pink, top is deep plum (purple), and battery cover is flo-yellow. It's your life, live it! 7. Another package? Oh yea! This baby fits like a glove! I can't wait to get her into the air! Racer 2k3's are AWSOME!
  8. You're damn right it was! It takes a great deal to impress me, and this did it.
  9. Coming from you, man, I'll take that as a great compliment!
  10. My Prof (the one that gave the exam this morning) mentioned she had spoken with another prof, and he was giving his exam today too, at 5 pm! It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  11. I just got out of a Bio exam, and am typing this from a kiosk in the College of Natural Resources building here on campus. I have an interview with the IT department (also on campus) in a half an hour, and then I'm going home, not to return until Monday! It's your life, live it! 12. I have not yet had the opportunity to meet Kate, but have heard wonderful things about her. Now after looking at that picture of her and Amy, I have to comment on this: OK, maybe I suck at math, but that comes up to 44 in my head. I call bullshit. If that pic is really of Kate (and yes, I know which one is Amy), there is no way in hell she's over 30. Happy Birthday, Kate! It's your life, live it! 13. Actually for me, there has never really been any inflection in that word. Just make sure there are 3 full syllables, and say it with disdain: in-sur-ance. A frown helps too. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  14. No shit. Dave had actually almost caught him on post numbers too. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  15. Hey Clay! Did you hear Dave's getting married, and Morgan is actually going to take his name, without a hyphen? heh Same old same old around here. It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  17. OK, Fine, I'll break the self imposed 6000 post limit for this thread. The part I really love about this time of year, besides the enthusiasm of my children on Christmas morning is a simple walk. Really, think about it. Imagine yourslef there. I live in Small Town America(tm). Christmas here is not just a holiday, it's a pastime. The whole town is decked out, yet subtly and in a simplistic manner. Simple clear bulbs on the now bare trees in the main square, as well as lining the streets of Main Street, whos buildings date to the 1800's. I love a stroll down that street in the wee hours. After the bars have closed, and the majority of the people have gone off home, to bed. It needs to be dark, and quiet. The town is illuminated by only the light glow of the Christmas decorations and the old-style lamp posts. There isn't so much as a whisper of wind, and the snow of the evening has left a nice, fresh blanket on everything, yet has tapered off to just a trace of light flakes drifting down to the ground. Many people don't understand how people like me can stand to live up here in the winter, as it's true, it gets VERY cold, but just one walk like that hooks you for life. It's that beautiful, and it's that much better when I can take that walk with my wife. Life just doesn't get any better than central Wisconsin at Christmas time.
  18. So someone "pulls the fire alarm" and you have to pick from someone who is currently shown "online" Gotta wonder how many people just went to "Who's Online" to see if they'd pull the fire alarm. I would, even though I'm not listed (damn stalkers ). EDIT: Hot damn, that makes 6000 posts! I guess it's time to retire and never post again.... It's your life, live it! 19. If I only have a day, I think I'd like to be Nastyclown. I couldn't screw that up anymore than it already is. Anyone else, nah. I'd be afraid of doing damage to all the prim and proper posters, like adamjenner, sunshine, or roysplaything. It's your life, live it! 20. Oh, yea, I've just been running the screensaver of FAH. Anyone know if they made it any easier to install as a hidden service (ie. without firedaemon)? It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1
  21. Better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission Actually, every one of them runs XP, and they are reaaaaaly secure. Locked up tighter than a chastity belt. I need to get 'inside'.... Muuuaaahahahahaha! There is a position open in workstation support, and so far I'm the front runner for the job. Those workstations are divided pretty evenly between PIII 933's and 3Ghz P4's. With that kind of processing power, maybe I could help lift dropzone.com from its lowly 80th position. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=31515 If you haven't joined for the cause, DO IT! 22. I thought that was Joe Dirt? Nope, definitely Silence of the Lambs. You need to broaden your horizons! Joe Dirt was a muuuch better depiction of "Buffalo Bob". It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#1

  24. The '' is for me. I sent my main and reserve along with a (now former) representative of Jump Shack, to put in my new Racer. I'm still waiting. Since the convention. Yours is quite nice. Maybe some day (year) when I get mine we can compare notes, and maybe even attempt a jump together (even though I suck ). It's your life, live it!
